Avoid! Not a registered name under any governing body, listed an an accreddited independant agency but lists blanks accreds on the website. Agents claim to give 24 hour notice to show tennants around your place but they just retain a key and turn up claiming to have given notice by email. The right to 24 hours notice doesn't exist. They left my bathroom lights out for 18 months and never got them sorted, boiler out for 6 months and a big stain all over the wall. They care nothign about you once you sign on that contract, chose an agent who's registered with the proper governing bodies or don't complain when you get rougue and morally corrupt agents walking into your flat with other people.... Having been in a tricky spot requiring a decent agent and property over recent months, I can safely say Rent Here have made the whole situation a lot better! The team were helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. I've rented from around 7 agencies in York & Leeds and Rent Here are by far the worst. - Hidden charges - Weren't attentive during tenancy - Didn't have an inventory when they came to do check out - Charged us over £90 to fit 5 new bulbs & put the extractor filter through the dishwasher - Had to go through DPS arbitration dispute Terrible service, avoid like the plague.... Rent Here have rented three of my properties for me and I have found them to be very professional and go the extra mile to make sure contracts go through smoothly and quickly whilst also keeping the tenants happy.., they also charge less than most other estate agents!!
