Was a tenant with Homefinders for over 2.5 years. Throughout this time the service I received was very professional, always on time and showing a high level of customer care. Worth mentioning Yasemin, who as my property manager did everything incredibly efficiently during my check out process, including the administrative paperwork, last property checks and returning my deposit in full.

We had a rat in our house and Homefinders refused to do anything about it because they couldn't get in touch with the landlord. Disgusting service!
Edit: The issue was first reported on 21st September. As per the estate agents admission below, they only contacted the landlord a week later when I called up a second time. It's now been two weeks and still no sign of pest control. What a joke!

I have been letting 2 of my properties through Homefinders for the past 2 years. I switched from another agency because they were charging way too much for the service they provided. Homefinders guaranteed my rent and pay my rent on time regardless of if the tenants have paid or not, which is such a good security for me at the moment, and they did this with no additional charges. My old agency charged so much more and would not guarantee the rent without additional charges! We recently had to replace the kitchen at one of my properties, they arranged this for me and offered to deduct it from my rent in instalments over 6 months, as I did not have the money to pay for it upfront. Really couldn't thank them enough, makes such a difference knowing the team at Homefinders care.

Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had with a letting agents. They were super cooperative in helping us get our flat, on hand to help with things we needed and provided our deposit back with no fuss. A breath of fresh air from a lot of agents I’ve had bad experiences with :)

I have been in the property since 28 Nov.
The furniture is broken they came and put it
Into the house next door ?
And left me with nothing.
Paying for a furnished flat £1300 a month
Gas cooker 2month had to ask health and safety
For help shower had live cables .
Again had to ask health and safety for help
They will not give you contact for the person who owns the property. Even though the law says landlord name contact number and address
Must be on your lease.
Builders are cowboys.
If you don't believe me come and rent from them .
Wish I could let yous see pictures.

I have been using Homefinders to rent and manage my properties for many years now and I cannot fault them, they provide a personal service and really care for their clients. Recently, when a long-term tenant moved out of one of my properties, Homefinders arranged contractors to refurbish the place and got it ready and on the market with new tenants found quickly! Thanks to both the lettings and management teams for their work.

Unfortunately my experience with them was average-poor.
My move in date was delayed by 9 days and the agent, Mo, took too long to let me know that flat issues I raised during my viewing were not going to be addressed prior my move in.
Basic stuff like heating unit valves were not found upon my arrival to the flat. This is something to be checked by the agency, they didn't do it and almost a month later, they are still not installed.
On the other side, Leena from Management has been very helpful and very communicative.
Be carefull with charming agents like Mo.

Very unprofessional. Moved into a flat rented by them since November 2020,was never given inventory checklist. When asked they even initially denied being responsible for providing it but upon checking further it was in fact their job to provide it. It is now March 2021 and they still have not provided the inventory checklist despite chasing them multiple times. Even told the manager Matt and still no news till now,they are just taking the mick really. Avoid if you can,extremely unprofessional.

I had some flood damage from a property managed by Homefinders - Yasemin Shehri was the assistant property manger who dealt with it and she was amazing. She was responsive, professional, polite and the whole matter was resolved so quickly. I was extremely impressed with her and can recommend Homefinders Kingsland Road based on my experience with her.. Thank you Yasemin!

Not a bad agency tbh. Just wish they cared a bit more when checking in new tenants and not having to chase certain things that are required for them to be on top of for a new tenant
and wish the agent made clear in detail was are the conditions of tenancy agreement (its basic customer service) with no Jargon and clear line of comms before it signed , to let prospective tenants know if there be a break clause instead of just saying its for 12 months only. just to get the room filled , its rather dishonest and doesn't really speak volumes of a company that clearly out lines its conditions when there's a possibly you could ask for a break clause in contract , i just think its rather sneaky they reveal these details after you have signed you could have request one after you signed.
Anyways you live and learn from these experiences.

We recently moved out of a property managed by Homefinders and we were glad to do so!
Several issues:
- improper tenancy report at inception of tenancy
- property was not professionally cleaned
- confusion on payment dates and pro/rata (below)
- left scaffolding outside the property for 7 months (after resolving promptly, which was a positive)
- very unresponsive to emails throughout tenancy
- tried to charge rent on a daily rate instead of monthly (as agreed per contract)
- on leaving the property proposed excessive deductions and explain normally these deduction were higher (often in excess of £1,000) and argued they were hence being considerate
- charged £25 for the removal of a suction cap from the bathroom
- charged £40 for professional gardening due to weeds (which we demonstrated were present on moving in but gave in due to delay in refunding deposit)
- refunded the deposit 1 month after leaving the property (as late as legally possible)
- only way we got traction was to constantly visit the estate agents
Pleasant people in person, but a nightmare to get hold of and very unresponsive. Please consider impact on tenants before choosing!

I have had a fantastic experience with Homefinders.Gassan is a brilliant agent- very responsive and professional. Any issues that i have had with the property have been dealt with very quickly . As a tenant I would highly recommend this agency. they provide an outstanding service.
