Avoid like the plague !
Cancelled viewing half an hour before meeting .Informed landlord had already arraged letting.
Offered to keep me on their books: No chance! The worst customer service.

Humber Estate Agents weren’t our own agents, they were who we bought through. HOWEVER I cannot praise Leanne and her team enough! They did far more for our move than my own agent and their service was excellent. Full of knowledge and expert advice and I would 100% recommend, and would be my go-to in the future. Very friendly and approachable & understanding. Excellent!!!!

Sold with one of the first viewers in the first week! Second time I’ve used them to sell. From putting on the market to completion in under 10 weeks. Fantastic price for an amazing service. I was kept updated throughout, supported to sell items to the couple purchasing my house and everything was in a timely and professional manner. Would 100% recommend and use again.

As a first time 'seller' I had little experience of how to sell a house. Thankfully I chose Humber Estate Agents and Leanne Pexton came to my rescue! Very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly she held my hand and walked me through every step to ensure the property sold, which it did and we completed in 2 months! We got a great price and Leanne and the team couldn't help enough and the fee was very reasonable. I would recommend Humber in a Heartbeat and Leanne was an absolute star!!!

I have recently moved into my first place from my parents house. I was very nervous about this, and I have to say the team at Humber Estate agents really made me feel a lot more comfortable. I was mainly in contact with Dan and Paula and they were both so lovely and responsive! If I had any questions nothing was to much to ask for! Would highly recommended this professional estate agents and it’s warm staff!

I plan to move out soon. The repairs are never done and the landlord has placed bins in front of my car on a number of occasions and I find it quite childish to say I pay a lot to live here.

Really bad company to rent from. Just like all other reviews stated the inventory is a joke and is designed to scam the tenant and repairs are so hard to get done by them in an acceptable time frame or sometimes never. It's never there fault though but everyone says the same thing about them time and time again so go figure ..
PS I'm not Crag? so not sure who you think your response is to?

Terrible estate agents. Getting any sort of repairs done from them is a complete farce. And if it's out serious or expensive that needs sorting well good luck with that because you will get every excuse under the sun.

Reasonable fees with great customer service. Answered any queries and were very helpful with advice which was welcomed in these difficult COVID times when procedures may be different.
Always returned my calls and kept me up to date with emails. Would be my first port of call if I required an estate agent . Special thanks to Louise and Lianne for your services

Very slow on processing repairs requests. Doesn't seem to be a fluid relationship with their contractors. I don't see how this company can regularly reach targeted KPIs.

I love my flat so much, not just because of the flat, but also because of the agent, Humber Estates :) They ensure the house is super clean and well prepared before I moved in. Nothing hard to deal with when about applying to be the tenant of the flat :) Daniel and Paula, the letting representatives are very responsive and nice too :)
So far I should give 5/5 for overall to this agent ! :)
My landlord too, who authorised me to be the tenant and helped in decorating the flat even more, thanks! :D

Unfortunately I share the same experience with those who rated this agency with 1.
I must make you aware that, if you are planning to stay in their properties, you have to be on your feet. Their inventory at the start of the tenancy is very supperficial - in my case I took pictures myself of every corner in the house, every little thing, even handles in the kitchen and I shared these with them at the start. Surprise surprise -I was blaimed at the end of tenancy of distroying the property. Also one window was badly cracked and I was promised that it would be changed in a few weeks and it was never changed (6 months tenancy) and due to this I paid a lot on heating. Also i moved into a flat that had 100GBP debt on both gas and electricity together, which I was left to sort out. I cant explain how the previous owner was forgiven for this, and still the agency was so keen to take my money on the water mark in the bathroom. On that note, they expect you not to take showers because that will mark the walls and that will not be considered normal worn-out of the property. Yes - since the bathroom was in the middle of the property it had no windown and even with the van, there was no way it could keep the walls all dry - and I was blaimed for leaving it wet. Also i was blakmed for a line on the wall-i didnt even hang pictures during my stay there, I lived in a completely empty flat to find out at the end that there is no way I can take your money back. They do all their best to keep as much of it as possible. Good luck in finding another agency.

I was very pleased with the way they dealt with the sale of my house and the way they helped me buy another. Everything was done so fast, I went into their office Monday lunchtime and by 5-00pm the house was on the market!
Three weeks later I had a buyer - after accepting a £500 (only) reduction in the asking price. Leanne then negotiated a £5000 reduction in the house I wanted to buy. What a result!
I found all the staff extremely courteous and professional. I would have no hesitation in using Humber Estate Agents again.

I am only giving this one star because it forces you to add a star to submit the post. This agency could not appear to care less about their renters. I have had a leak and water damage since I moved into my property two years ago. They refuse to acknowledge that it is depreciating the property by ignoring it, and refuse to reply to our claims, much less send someone to fix it. They continually say they will "sort it" and never send anyone. I pay my rent on time and dependently every single month.
At one point, I was without a functioning oven for over two months.
The agents and manager all either fail to treat tenants with respect by processing claims, or talk down to their renters.
If you want to deal with people who couldn't care less about making your home experience positive, treat you like nothing more than a pound sign, and act like they are above the systems set in place to protect the people living in let estates, these are the agents for you!

Called twice in regards to renting a garage thay had advertised, was told both times thay were unsure if its still availsble and would call me back.
Never got a call back, had the feeling that because its only a garage to rent at £40 a month its not important.
