Katie Baker helped me in my flat search, she drove me around on a car and was respectful of my time, only showing me properties that met my requirements. She did not spam my inbox with emails and calls, but communicated by text on Whatsapp, which made things way easier. As a landlord, I’m absolutely appalled at the agents there. I had to deal with Katie and Sam who are the most arrogant, unprofessional and pushing agents I’ve come across in my life. Agents there are just trained to close deals as fast as they can. I could go on for hours about the wrongdoings of Katie, in particular, but it would be too long of a review. I cannot wait to change agency. PS: After calling Chestertons’s headquarters I was redirected towards Katinka, the area manager, who helped me solved the problems I had with Katie and Sam and who has been efficient and polite. However finding her was a process I had to do as I wasn’t given her name by the agency but only by calling the headquarters.... Read more

Dealt with Katie who was new to the company at the time but couldn't have been more helpful. We thought our house move in Covid would be a nightmare but she found us exactly what we were looking for and made our move date happen seamlessly. Absolutely horrendous they have not replied to so many emails sent regarding multiple issues with the maintenance- our washing machine broke, It took them age to replace, we have water damage and taps falling off and now mice and rats running in our flat!!!! they have consistently refused to manage these issues. I have sent emails to multiple people working with in Chestertons and none have taken it upon themselves to do their actual job!! Run do not walk they are not as serious and I promise you you will have many many issues headaches involving them in any matter!... Read more
