Extremely easy to move into a rental however, the service once you’ve moved in,is shoddy to say the least. They never respond to any issues relating to the maintenance or fixing of the property.I rented for over 14 months with them and logged issues from day 1, however,it was never fixed even after my moving out in Q3 of 2022. Zero accountability. Errors with rent processing,I was told once that I hadn’t paid my rent when I did. No apology offered for this.No process for checkout either even after several requests ahead of the move. When trying to get someone to assist,I was sent from Pillar to post and nobody seemed to know who was responsible for checking out and inventory checks. No communication when a photographer was sent take pics of the place when it was up on the market towards the end of my rental,I just received a call from a stranger one day telling me he’d like to organise to come take pictures. Again, I had to follow up with the agents to confirm the accuracy of this before allowing a stranger into the property while I was living there. No apology for sharing my number or informing me ahead of time. Anytime they’d planned to bring in someone to come repairs I had reported in August 2021, it never materialised even when I’d arranged several alternative dates with the agency they simply ignored my efforts.Excessive billings for cleaning costs on moving out. In a nutshell,if you’re looking for poor service and nothing getting fixed (including mould and flooding issues),these are your guys.... Read more

I have been renting my property through the Hunters Greenwich branch for a number of years. I recently rented one of my other properties in North London with a large London agent, who I won't name, and the service was so different. The team at the Greenwich branch have been amazing! The service has truly been top notch. From the efficient communication, respectful staff, very quick lettings and great tenants they have always found for me, I honesty cannot recommend them highly enough. Keep up the great work!... He had to liaise with both tenants and us over a tricky situation over the tenant's late notice for their previous lease. I know it cant be easy to find a solution for both parties.... Read more

Excellent! I contacted a lot of agents to help me with my search for a new flat. Hunters were very responsive and gave me a lot of good advice that none of the other agents did. In the end I did not rent a property with them sadly because I found a great deal privately. I will definitely be using them next time and will be recommending them.... Read more

Having had a fairly unproblematic tenancy, Hunters have now kept hold of our deposit, almost two months after the end of our tenancy, without any explanation, no communication and when followed up about it, every agent says they will be in touch but we haven't heard anything. Absolutely shocking as they are also aware that one of us is without a job due to COVID.... Read more

Our experience has changed from good to very bad, struggling to receive an updated lease. Virus or not, 3+months to send out the forms is just unacceptable. Contacted 3 employees, none were responsive or keen enough to solve the matter only empty promises. Got in touch with the owner to finally make it happen. Very unprofessional attitude and service. Hunters offered a good rate for finding a tenant but it's been problems all the way. Due to an "admin error" they started advertising my flat as soon as they had taken photos of it, without my permission. Once I'd expressed interest in signing a contract with them and had dropped my keys with them, they disappeared. I didn't even receive a contract despite sending four reminders by text and email. The "great lettings market" that they had boasted about didn't materialise, which is probably not a surprise. As I'd not heard back from them about a contract (or anything else) I let the apartment myself, and now they have ignored three written requests to return my keys. Pretty unprofessional.... Almost 2 months without washing machine, 6 months without dishwasher, exchange of emails and phone calls, always without a concrete answer. Lack of support and misinformation by employees. Bad experience with this agency.... Read more
