We recently bought our perfect house in York. James and Angie were there to help us through what ended up being an extremely long and difficult process. Our solicitor said that during the purchase we encountered almost every conveyancing issue there is and it was because of James and Angie that we managed to hold things together. James Black homes were recommended to me by my neighbors who had used them to sell their previous home. I had just inherited my late mother's house and wanted to sell it on. James Black and his staff came in and did an absolutely sterling job and got me a really good price when it sold. I have just used James Black homes to sell my house and they came up trump's for me again, getting me a great price in its sale. I am very very happy with the service I have received from James Black and his friendly team. I am chuffed to bits because both the properties sold very quickly. Particularly my mother's old house because no house in the two block terrace ever sold as quick as hers and she had lived there since it was built in 1965. Thanks very much James Black homes! Five star service from start to finish. We chose James Black Homes to sell our house after viewing a house through him. After viewing with many agents who simply have someone with a key who has no knowledge of the property, it was excellent to view with someone who had in depth knowledge of the properties, the local market and even helped with suggestions of potential renovation options. Our decision really paid off as our house sold within a couple of weeks for what we wanted and we knew each lead was being exhausted. To the point where we had more than one offer on the table. James Black Homes is an estate agent in a different league to the other estate agents. Buying/selling a house can be a difficult time, but not with James and the team! For me, the real difference is that James puts customer service at the heart of eveything he does. James is a very experienced estate agent and understands that operating in a traditional 9-5 environment is restrictive when moving house and offers an incredibly flexible service ... be that viewing times that suit both you and the buyer (no matter what day of the week it is!) or using the communication methods that suit you best. I spend most of my work day on conference calls so exchanging text's rather than calls was perfect for me. James really cares about his clients and the service he offers, always looking at how he can deliver the best service. He thinks about what will be the best way to sell your house, not just relying on a posting on Rightmove. The photographs of my house were fantastic, this is because James uses a professional photographer that will display your house in the best possible light, he doesn't just use one of the team in the office to take the photos as so many other estate agents do. James is involved at every part of the selling journey, ensuring that the sale is as smooth as possible and helping resolve the inevitable challenges that crop up along the way!
