I’m going to keep this short and sweet. AF families, this review is for you specifically. We just got our security deposit after a three months after having to involve TDS from across the world. 1. Document everything. Check in reports are not enough for Leaders. If there is an issue with the house after move in- report it even if it is already documented on the check in report because they will try to claim you never reported it and hold you liable. For example, there was an appliance documented as broken on the check in report and they tried to charge us £1900 to replace it even though we were never able to use it. Their reason being that WE individually never reported it as broken. 2. If you need to have maintenance done, document. Document. Document. Do not accept a phone call answer without sending a follow up email. They will give you the run around for weeks waiting to have something fixed and in the end, claim that you never reported it. We even had an agent try to claim it was our fault something didn’t get fixed because we didn’t follow up with them and remind them to send someone out after they said they would. 3. Do not be too nice. Leaders agents are not your friends. They are not there for you, they are there for the Landlord. The Landlord is paying them for their service and they will do whatever they need to do to get their paycheck. That means if you need something fixed, report it. Do not be concerned about bothering them too much or asking too often or sending too many follow up emails. We made the mistake of being nice and trying to compromise by paying a few hundred bucks towards some repairs and they came back asking for MORE than the deposit. 4. They cannot force you to pay more than the deposit. In the end, they may say that you owe more, they cannot hold you to that and if they try, you need to file a dispute with TDS. They will try and talk you out of going to TDS because TDS had a reputation for taking the tenets side. Remember that they are there for the landlord and they will do whatever must be done to keep the landlords business.... Read more

A massive thank you to Hannah for assisting me with paperworks. She’s patient with answering all my questions and she’s quick to reply. Very helpful and she assisted me with everything excellently. To Tom, I also owe him a lot cause if he hadn’t called me and secured the place right away for me, I wouldn’t be able to secure the tenancy. He’s also patient to wait for my answer if I want to rent the place or not. I’m just really thankful from the bottom of my heart. Thanks also to Lauren for her excellent assistance. We contacted Leaders to do a rental appraisal for us and was dealt in a very friendly but professional manner by Cat Goodwin. She talked us through the process initially on the phone, then in further detail in person at the property. Sadly once issues with the tenant became apparent Leaders did not want to know, which left me with a filthy dirty property with a broken shower, fridge and large black stains on the carpet along with several established bushes and plants dug up from the garden, nine of which the tenant was held accountable for....
