Do not use Sharon Evans at JustRentMe my experience has been of her talking a good game but lacking the necessary organisational skills or professionalism. If anything goes wrong there is absolutely no come back. There is no registered address for the company. They are not registered with any associations that I'm aware of. The land line number on the Facebook page doesn’t work. The mobile phone is rarely answered. I was constantly left feeling exposed and unsure of what was happening with my property. I couldn’t get hold of tenancy agreements, rental statements, invoices etc despite asking many many times. I found myself panicking that I would be fined for a late tax return because I had to chase so many times for simple information about my property. There was always an excuse or something/someone else to blame. In the end I decided to change letting agents at which point Sharon refused to answer any calls or correspondence from myself or the new agents requesting transfer of relevant property paperwork. I still haven’t heard anything. There are many alternative agents in Torquay don’t do it to yourself it just isn’t worth it. Also note one of the positive reviews is from JustRentMe which makes me question how many of the others are genuine?... Read more

Haven't moved in yet, but hopefully everything will go smoothly. We booked an appointment to see a flat with Sharon, however after viewing it my partner and I decided it was too small for us, we were slightly gutted cause shraons agents fees were affordable. However she said she had the perfect one lined up for us, within a week we managed to views the property, and shraon was always there on the end of the phone to keep us updated. She is a wonderful woman, who understood our situation and went beyond her duty of care to secure the property. So to sum it up probably cheapest agent fees in the bay and laid back and just absolutely amazing. Thank you for all your help. Me and Dan appreciate it xxx... Read more

30 days til the nightmare ends! I've rented from this woman for 6 months and not once has anything gone right. Not once has a phone call been returned, only once has an appointment been stuck to by her 'tradesman' Rather than rant, a list of faults follows. Should you proceed, please do so with caution, I am not the only person she has treated in this manner. - bathroom flooring not put down when she promised it would be prior to move in date (completed 5weeks later) - broken shower rail not replaced prior to move in as promised (completed 15 weeks later) - unreliable tradesmen -unqualified tradesman including plumbing and gas works - neglect in dealing with severe damp issues 4 months after being reported - turning up without written notice more than once -failure to act when boiler broke down - failure to attend appointment at property with Housing Standards - failure to act with no hot water supply in kitchen -failure to act with washing machine plumbing issue (not the machine but the house pipes) -Failure to supply an inventory (I did my own and gave her a copy, in front of the landlord) - failure to complete works requested by the landlord. These are just s few things that spring to mind as I write. My next step is to find her governing body and make a formal complaint about her. ... Read more
