These guys clearly move a lot of properties, but their sales tactics were the most high-pressure of any agency we dealt with. The agent kept claiming that the places he was showing me were the last few available before the holidays, that the flat was likely to go that evening (when in fact it sat on the market for two weeks afterwards) etc... Nothing really dodgy about such 'sales puff' i guess, although if you have to deal with them, i would be prepared to take everything they say with a huge pinch of salt.

Agreed with the first reviewer, John. Atrocious service once they've got you signed up. Days, weeks and months went by without them sorting out the numerous issues with our flat, not least of all the damp which they just painted over and didn't mention on first viewing. It was never resolved in a year of being there. Oh and let's not forget them turning up and letting themselves in without prior notice, breaching the terms of the contract. As previously mentioned, unfortunately, if you really want the place then you don't have a choice who you're renting from. But I'm glad we're rid of this lot. The worst letting agents I've experienced in London. TLDR: If at all possible, AVOID!

In my humble opinion that other review is rubbish and probably written by a mini driving corporate competitor! I rented with Keating Estates & was so impressed with them that I decided to buy through them too. I now have a lovey flat in Brixton & they were really helpful in guiding me through the whole process. The team at Keating Estates are excellent, lets face it they have to be in order to compete with the likes of the faceless corporate players. If you are looking for a refreshingly different approach then my advice is pop by & see for yourself.

Well, lets face it, if they have the flat you want you're going to sign up with them regardless of what someone on the internet says. But just beware that they will try to screw money out of your deposit with made up problems (go through your check in report with a fine tooth comb, ours was full of omissions), they will be an absolute pain to deal with over the smallest of things, they will treat you with absolute contempt. Make sure you ask them in advance about any maintenance issues that are outstanding because they won't tell you in advance and then they'll pretend they never knew about it. I've been with a fair few letting agents in London but these were by far the worst. Very glad to be rid of them.
