Do not rent or buy from them, I have had the worst experience with them. The only thing they want is your money. They have kept my deposit without reason, even I have given notice and explained to them 2 months ago that I will leave in the end of October and they said "ohh were really sorry to here that you're going, but that's fine" in the end of October then they said that everything with the property looks fine but we can't give you the deposit because you didn't give us an exact date for the end of October. I strongly recommend the agent services in Key Home. Their reasonable price and rapid service has a strong advantage compared with the other Northampton agencies I know. I’ve introduced this agent as well as the property I rented to most of my friends. I appreciate Kate who helped me out to settle down in Northampton during the lockdown and wish everything will be better after the covid period!... Read more

I have been with Key Homes for the past 4 years and I wouldn't recommend this letting agency to anyone from an ethnic minority background or with children. My most recent experience with them was 13/05/2021 where their agent : Kate-Butlin Pannell came over to my house unannounced to "check the alarms" where she over-stayed her welcome (25mins) and called both myself and my 2 year old child a monkey ( racial slur). Again I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone!! As a tenant your privacy is not appreciated and they often come in unannounced.... Read more

I have been with Keyhome for the past three years and the service my friends and I have received over the years has been excellent. The staff are always very helpful and we have never had any problems. Would like to thank the staff for helping us move house for this year making it easy and relaxing. Highly recommend any student in Northampton to get in touch with them if you are looking for great student accommodation.... Read more

We have let our houses through Key Homes now for several years. They are an exceptionally caring and professional company and the only time they get a bad review is when a student has been aggrieved with them, usually due to the student destroying the property, trying to leave without paying rent or some other irresponsible act. These type of people give a bad review just to get there own back for there own behaviour.... Read more

I dealt with keyhomes in my first year of uni (2017) and it was difficult liaising with the student team, but since new staff have come in (Kate mostly) there has been a fresh energy and a brilliant response rate. They are kind and are quick to react to problems when it is brought up, very professional, very willing to help and very understanding of personal issues. I really could not have asked for anyone better when going through my last year of uni (2020). Thank you Keyhome.... Read more

Had a issue paying a summer retainer as a first year student after seeing how expensive it would be i wanted to have some time to decided. Whilst there my farther asked to have a copy of there terms and conditions at with one of there members of staff got very offended going on about how she runs a legit business and had a complete over reaction. I found his to be very unprofessional and put me off the room all together. Despite the agent we initially dealt with was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.... Read more
