My daughter and her four friends used this agency for uni accommodation. They were all excited and the agency was helpful at first, showing us a few houses to choose from. When the move in day came, the house was a tip and the back door was broken so wouldn't close. Very concerning as a parent. We tried calling the owner but got through to a different landlord which was embarrassing. We'd been emailed wrong contact and bank details, managed to get the correct info from them and they now say anything further needs to be dealt with through the landlord not them. Issues being sorted now but quite a stressful experience with this agency and landlord... Read more

If you get Lauren then say goodbye to getting a house ???? she has 0 communication skills, very rude, and will promote things that will never come to fruition. I kindly asked her to find a home for me after we agreed to me staying in current accommodation but she messed up the contract and left me stuck in the house and trying to force me to pay full rent! (£1800 a month and I’m the only student/person in home). Seriously use another estate agency !!!... Read more

Olivia and Jack are very helpful and amenable, but I think they need to vet the landlords that they choose to represent. They are just there to bring landlords and tenants together and there, their responsibility ends. But, it doesn’t reflect very well on them when they are representing landlords whose practices are, to say the least, shady. The alarm bells should have rung for me when, while viewing the flat that I eventually moved into, Jack told me that he wouldn’t show me another property owned by the same landlord because it was in such a disgusting state. Once I moved in, I realised that the landlord’s approach to rental is to let the place fall apart, provide shoddy equipment and then try to charge the poor tenant who happens to be in that flat as the place falls down around them, even when, for example, the damage is the result of the landlord’s DIY attempts at plumbing or the fact that the heaters, etc. are ancient and on their last legs. It would be a good idea to go to a different estate agent and ask what processes they have in place to check that the landlords they represent are honest to make sure that you don’t end up with the same landlord that I had (who is currently trying to take whatever he can from my deposit). Remember, if you are a tenant, you have rights and you are paying a lot of money for a level of service. You are not the proxy owner of the property and should not be expected to shoulder the costs of maintenance of the building as a whole or for wear and tear. Please note that this is not just a case of a disgruntled ex-tenant - with a little digging, I've had plenty of other people contact me with similar stories of the same landlord - Nader Atefipour.... Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
