I rented a room out from them 2 years ago, they are so unprofessional! They kept £500 deposit from me, and never gave my money back bqcuse I dident wash the dishes regularly. The issue with that is, why would I, if I only used disposable cups and plate only during my short stay!!! And this is a very stupid reason to not give someone there deposit back anyway!!!... We rented three rooms from this agency two years ago, they said that we would have been in 7 in the house, ended up we were in 11, when we moved in we realised that yes there were two bathroom as they said, but only one shower, so we asked for another shower and they requested two more weeks of deposit + the two that we already paid.
We paid everything and (big mistake) we didn’t ask for a resit of payment.
After two months we were still living with one shower, after many calles and messages we finally got another shower, funny enough they made a mistake to build it so was only working one per time, and the pression of the water was vary law.
Hobiusly Internet was not working cause too many people were on it, and we experienced small problems with boiled, washing machine, and shower who was always stock and fully of water, the agency or actually a small agency who apparently rented the rooms to us working independently from the big agency were just disappeared.
One of the room downstairs got free after 6/7 months, and magically they appeared again in the house with some clients who were interesting in that room.
We explained to the new possibly tenants that was not really a good deal to rent a room from them.
The Agency didn’t really like it, and instead of fixing the problems in the house, they basically invented a story and a character (the landlord) who came to speak with us and invited us to move out in three days because he wanted to do some works in the house.
We explained to the “landlord” that we were still have 1 month of deposit, cause we paid an extra 2 weeks for the shower.
In the beginning there were no proofs so they refused to give us the deposit back and we replied that we would have stai there one more month instead.
After 5 days from that chat, we came back from work and we found a giant wood panel am front to the door, so we called the police,
By the time that the police arrive also the actor who was playing the “landlord” passed by with the car invited us to just get inside and take our staff and leave, we told him that the police was coming, as soon he saw the police car he just run away, we managed to remove the panel and open the door, there was no electricity and water anymore in the house, so we stayed for two days in literally primitive conditions.
At that point the big agency understood that we would have not leave without our deposit so another man that we never saw before came to speak with us and we explained everything, so he offered to paid the 2 weeks of deposit left to each of us, in two days we left the house and he gave us the money back, in the end nobody understood who was the fault, nobody understood who was the fake landlord and who sent him there, and from who we rented the rooms in the first place.
Anyway for sure an usual story, now we laugh about that, because I guess anyone can agree that is just Epic! But in that moment was not funny at all.... Read more

Absolutely disgusting.
When all of the tenants where out for work one day, they put a massive panel on the door, so that we couldn't have access to the house anymore, saying call this number.
All our stuff was inside, with some help we came back home,we didn't know why they wanted us out, they didn't give us any notice. They let us stay in the house a couple of days more without electricity and hot water.
They said '' you must leave the house or we will call some big black guys to kick you out ".
Dont choose this agency is absolutely the worst!... Read more

Unprofessional, and really rude.
They didn t give me back my deposit even if i gave them the right notice.
Some of my flatmates had been kiked out from the house just becouse they had an argument whit the agency, they told us they were gonna build a second bathroom(because there were 11 people with only one shower) but they never did it.
They made us sign the conctract with them but we had to pay the rent to a third (EXTERNAL) person , who also stole staff from the house .
I was living in 63 antill road, in mile end and i have never seen a person from the agency coming over, no even when the washing machine was broken, when the light was out of service or when there was not hot water.
Also when i first went to the agency to rent a room they took me to the property ( it was maybe the only time i have seen one of them in the house tho) i saw there were refurbishing works and i supposed to get the room in 2 days. I was told everything was gonna be ready for that day but actually when i got there the smell of fresh paint was too strong andi couldn't even breath fine at night. And also no heating in my room.... Kingsland Grant is unbelievably unprofessional. I went to Kingsland Grant a few days a ago to ask for advice regarding rooms... I was advised by a pretty and pleasant young italian lady with American/New Zealand accent. While talking to her, a old English guy that also works at Kingsland Grant who I assume is the manager, just sat around his desk drinking alcohol and burping away very loud, it was disgusting! Afterwards he started talking flirtatiously with another young italian lady that was sitting on a desk beside the young lady with American/New Zealand accent, and he also started touching her afterwards in a way that I was able to tell she felt so uncomfortable and disgusted by it. I felt so sorry for her because she works at the estate agent with someone like him.... Read more

Kingsland Grant SCAMS people!! They take advantages of foreigners that are new to the country and are not aware of rooms and whole properties rental prices in London. They put the prices up really high and make the foreigners pay ridiculously high prices for the rooms and whole properties. If they give you a cheap room or a cheap whole property, it will mean at the end of the contract (room licence) they will make a stupid excuse not to give you your deposit back, so they can keep the deposit money for themselves. I am talking from experience and also I have came across many other Italians that went through the same thing with Kingsland Grant when they rented out the rooms and properties as I have with Kingsland Grant.... Kingsland Grant is so rubbish! The Italian guy named Alessandro that work at Kingsland Grant took my deposit and never gave it back! I paid deposit to rent out a room from him a while ago, the room was taking weeks to get ready even though it was suppose to be ready by the end of the week. When I called him on a Saturday asking him if my room is ready, he said to me “F**k off, it’s the fu**ing weekend!” and then hung up on me. I fought for my deposit because I did not want the room any longer because of his rude attitude, but he did not give my deposit back. He left me homeless!... Read more

I went to Kingsland Grant to rent out a room a few months back. I paid all the deposit and then waited for 2 months for the property to be ready as it was being newly refurbished. After 2 months the property was still not ready and so I was told the property is no longer available, and they also never even bothered to give me my deposit back. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTATE AGENT UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO SCAM YOU!... Read more
