Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket.
Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware!
(investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault")
With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

We found the Exeter branch to be most professional and helpful throughout the whole sale process. Florence was so approachable and went above and beyond - I can’t praise her tenacity, dedication and determination enough to get us from offer to our exchange date! Everyone in the office was helpful - Leonie contacted us immediately for viewings and Rachel ensured the sale process was as smooth as possible. Sarah carried out viewings - courteous, fun and professional at all times.
Would use Knight Frank if Exeter again without a doubt.

I must say I was very impressed with Sam Daniels at KF Bath. From the beginning to exchange of contracts he was proactive and tenacious to overcome bureaucratic obstacles. He kept me fully informed throughout the process and took ownership of the transaction with the solicitors. During the initial marketing phase he generated great momentum which culminated in a competitive bid process just a few weeks after engaging KF's services. In the end we transacted comfortably higher than the guide price. Great Job!

We have just exchanged on the sale of our property in Barnes and i have to say that Kate and the KF team have been brilliant!
Kate led us through the process with great attention ,lending sound, no nonsense advice and just got the job done !
As the house was a complete renovation and empty James introduced us to the Knight Frank Interiors team who furnished and dressed the house beautifully thus presenting it in the best possible way.
They use excellent photographers who produce superb brochures and they market extensively both online and in various magazines too.
This is the second house Knight Frank Barnes has sold for us and again they have come up trumps !
