Absolute crooks. I was going abroad and asked them to let my flat but email me the references of any prospective tenant first. They ignored my request and RETROSPECTIVELY absurdly claimed they couldn't email them in case they breached Data Protection by the references going missing in cyberspace. On my return they were reluctant to show me the references but I insisted. I was appalled at the quality and clear inconsistencies.. The tenants claimed to have no kids living with them but the Mother was receiving child benefit! As well as being massively over drawn! The previous landlord reference was a non verified Email (that turned out to be the email of one of the tenants kids).. I predicted immediately that the tenants would end up being evicted and they indeed did have to be with arrears of £6k and much damage to the property & subsequently they dissappeared. . It turned out they had been evicted from their last two homes for arrears despite a lifestyle that made them the king & Queen of Amazon purchases of everything from expensive phones, computers, clothes & excessive amounts of expensive toys..They left the invoices behind.. Crafty Knights Young have an opt out... I owned the property with my Sister who was a naive and inexperienced landlord (unlike myself with 20 years experience). They gave her the references at the same time they called her into their office to sign the rental agreement on her and my behalf. The tenant waved the deposit cheque in her face... If any prospective tenant waves a cheque in my face with their references, I show them the door. And there is more... Knights Young delayed me evicting the tenants by lying about what rent payments had been made and trying to push rent due payments forward. I was told the missing weeks rent would be made up at the end of the tenancy! One couldn't make it up. Avoid these cowboys.... Read more
