We had a really good experience with Saleem Kamal, who was our agent whilst looking for our new home and would recommend him highly. From the very start he was very engaging and spent time understanding our specific needs and timelines. Based on that, he only showed us relevant properties (unlike other agents who merely run through the inventory they have). What also helped us set a really good rapport with Saleem was that he not only sought regular feedback from us (after every viewing), but also tailored the next viewings based on that. This really helped us narrow our search quite quickly and move to the sales stage.
Saleem has been very helpful throughout the process, he is very responsive, prompt, professional and excellent at explaining the nuances of the process. end to end. I suppose this really sets him apart from the other agents we have worked with.
Tried to illegally demand that we pay a deposit to the estate agent (I.e. Not the seller). When we refused they threatened to not pass on our offer to the seller. Had to get solicitor to explain to them this was breaking the law. Seem to be completely clueless money grabbers.

Recently rented a property through Hastings and couldn't be happier with the service I received. Stephan Daniel and Maglin Jarrett-Elliott were very helpful throughout the process.
I have been a tenant with them. They were really a poor managing agency. Very rude, prone to take money from you and blaming you for anything.
Unfortunately when I became a landlord, I had the weakness to let them rent my property because I was short of time.
They are absolutely incompetent. They have charged me for some safety work which has never been done and it took me 6 months for them to recognise their mistake and to give me the money back.
They are very poor responders to email or phone call.
The worst came when my tenants wanted to move out. They have lost the set of keys they were holding so no prospective tenant could visit the flat.
They don t organise the inventory check out for you which make it very stressful for a landlord living abroad.
Now they want to give me back my deposit 3 months after my tenants have moved out to make sure that they have sufficient fund !
Tenants and Landlords, don t use Hastings International in London.
They are completely incompetent and unethical.
Need I say anymore? Beautiful property friendly staff definitely recommend Norma and the lettings guys, guided me through everything. Any issues were dealt with quickly and they helped me at the end of the tenancy to close all my bills, my deposit was repaid in FULL at the end of the tenancy. Thanks for a really great service over the last 6 years.
WORST people to deal with! If i could give minus stars i would. Agent LIED to myself and the landlord. I said I had a dog, agent said the landlord loved dogs and accepted my offer. turns out the landlord has never been made aware that I had a dog! I have not yet received a deposit scheme protection certificate, meaning I have no clue what happened to my deposit. The agent refused to give me the property keys UNLESS I PUT A NICE REVIEW here! he actually told me what to write! only then he gave me my property keys. I am taking legal action against you people as you are bad people and put me in a terrible situation where I might get kicked out because of my pet. The positive thing is that i have ALL your emails confirming everything, including the dog! So prepare yourselves for some legal fun!
Great experience. The team is incredibly committed to helping you move in as quickly as possible. I even got a special Saturday appointment because I wasn't able to come in during the week.

Tea was everything I had hoped for. Expensive of course, but nothing could have been better. Everything was excellent.
For a place that stands for impeccable service, we receive appaling level of attentiveness from the staff at the afternoon tea/ dinner service. Its the holidays and they must have been busier than usual but overwhelmed is not something I expect given their reputation. Definitely not worth the spend and time.
