I have used Langleys on a few occasions now and always found the main man Ken Mustafa more knowledgeable on property issues than anyone else I have come across. Recently I needed some conditions set by the council in respect of a planning application approved. Dealing with the LAs requirements for surface drainage can be onerous. Janine at Langleys dealt with it very quickly as we were running out of time. Latterly we had a tree issue with the same authority where they wouldn’t give a speedy reply to a dangerous tree. A couple of phone calls and an email from Langleys with an instant response and agreement. I couldn’t even get someone to talk to me. I would always recommend Langleys.... Read more

Incredibly thorough and timely. The report was incredibly detailed down to the most minute level of inspection you could imagine, ours covered 95 pages for a 4/5 bed 1905 property. This would have been daunting to read but it is organised using a traffic lights system which allows you to get to the red flagged areas of concern quickly. These red areas will tell you immediately if the property you are looking to purchase has any major issues and give you a hell of a lot of stuff to use to help with negotiations! I did manage to read the entire report and can say it is not only thorough but thoughtful and provides recommendations for improvements throughout which even where they will not make a difference to the purchase price by implementing the recommendations and keeping a watchful eye on parts of the house that James has suggested will no doubt save money and headaches in the long-term! James came as a recommendation to do a home buyers report on our first home. The turn around was quick and prior to booking I had seen another surveyors home buyers report that was completed on a friends property which was nowhere near as thorough as his. James went over the property with a fine tooth comb and no detail was missed and as expected highlighted many areas we missed on the two viewings. All my solicitors “particular areas of interest” were addressed and given specific reference in the report. Reasonably priced, reliable, trustworthy. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed....
