A lovely apartment in the middle of Shoreditch! If you want to go out to eat, all the great restaurants are less than a 10 minute walk. And there’s a Tesco downstairs so cooking is made super easy. Lovely Airhost who answered all my questions very quickly.... Read more

Avoid this company - asked about location of a short term rental in London to be certain no construction was nearby and they LIED - classic bait and switch. Ash from Lavanda emailed there was no construction so we booked the place for a week holiday. Arrived to find a 15 story tower under construction literally across the street from our property window! Lost a full day of holiday relocating to a new property and offered only a partial refund. Ruined my holiday trusting this lot - don’t make the same mistake. They don’t reply to direct email complaints either - just plain awful so expect no help when you have a problem. Hey Lavanda - Don’t try and tell me your an electronic only platform with no people so I must have worked with another firm - my credit card was charged by Lavanda so stand behind whomever is using your platform and protect the renters from illegal bait and switch tactics.... I find Lavanda fantastic. We use them for our Tech after using a firm that I would imagine most companies use in the first instance. We find Lavanda comes into its own when you're portfolio starts growing. It allows you to keep everything in place. Just makes life so much easier. The tech is great, but the thing for me that has made all the difference is leading on their extremely friendly and knowledgeable team for advice. Awful. If you are a flat owner my advice is don't go with Lavanda. We rented our one-bedroom flat in Docklands this summer. The salesman was very smooth and polished and promised a significant premium to a long-term rental. We ended up getting less on average than we get for a long-term rental with much more hassle and significantly higher costs.... Read more

apartment was easy to get to from Clapham junction station, about 15 minute walk. beautiful apartment, lovely décor and clean. very spacious for our party of 3, beds big and comfortable. loved the out door space accessed from lounge area via patio doors. felt very safe in this area, although we were never out past 10pm, everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. would definitely recommend and stay here again... Fantastic location, immaculate apartment and a great size. Worth bearing in mind check in after 10pm incurs an additional charge (I didn’t spot this until I’d booked) but they were really flexible about me changing my check in time in advance. Lift access is helpful as are little touches like toiletries and milk. Definitely recommend.... Read more

For Lavanda: Thanks a lot guys, it was a pleasure to work with you! For potential clients: Lavanda are probably the best letting agency I've personally seen on the market. We used to rent a flat from them and the entire front-to-back collaboration was exceptional. Some facts for you: (1) they don't charge anything for reference checks or preparation of tenancy agreement before you move in (except deposit of course) - for comparison, I paid 400 quid to other agent when moved out to a new flat, (2) they also didn't charge me when I asked to include my wife into the tenancy agreement when she joined me in London - the other agent would charge me around 300 quid, (3) their support was always prompt, all issues were resolved without any complains, (4) no problems when I moved out - my deposit was returned in full with deduction of move-out inventory check. Overall, if you like a flat they offer - don't hesitate.... Read more
