Absolutely terrible company. Found a flat I really liked contacted them via email and telephone u number of times. I even told them I was ready to put a deposit down. They barely ever got back to me and when they did they gave me some excuse as to why I could take view the flat. I don't know how they ever let out houses if they can't even manage to do veiwings.... Was given a property all belongings I paid for the delivery which cost 250£ The following day when unpacking child's tv was beoken then got a chap at door to that the house was sold and shouldn't have been let the guy who owned the house was here and upset as I had bought furniture to match the house they told me to pack a few essentai as they had a ground floor flat with an Inclosed garden so they will provide a removal to move all belongs upup at this time the office was shut I got to the house I thought I was getting it had no closed garden and it was a middle flat I turned flats down due to my epilogue and addisons went back and said tuff or look for another Propertys even thou I have Asia month contract if I don't take the flat they said tuff as Ian writing this message I have heard nothing from them and lying on bait floor with no covers or heating my back is breaking and due to my illnesses I am a lot of pain and still waiting to hear thank gif I have my contract should not recamend this company to familys... Terrible company to deal with. Twice I've arranged a viewing with this company on a Saturday, and twice they haven't shown up. I've called them to follow up after each no show to find out what happened, and they haven't responded to either call. If this is how difficult it is to arrange a viewing with them, I can only imagine how bad they are to deal with if you're a tenant or a landlord.... Read more

i have 2 properties with let direct they have managed them great. I have found all the staff to be polite, helpful and always on hand to answer any questions. they rented out my properties quickly and efficiently, gaining much more for both properties than i had been achieving renting them myself. i would highly recommend this letting agency to any landlord looking for an agent. ... let direct offers a great service they have managed 5 of my properties and I have never had any problems with them. They are brilliant, efficient and really nice to deal with. I went to 3 other letting agents in Falkirk let direct being the forth and let direct the ones who took the time to listen to mean and understand what I was looking for, they arranged all my tenancy and I couldn't be happier.... Lets Direct managed a brand new flat and brand new house of ours for a few years. In that time the different tenants they placed in our flat caused numerous damage to it. The last tenants left it dirty and unclean, Lets Direct asked for the keys to clean it, they didn't, took the flat back off them and spent over £1000 repairing it back to a decent condition. They refused to give us the last tenants deposit and hadn't registered it with a tenancy deposit scheme for us to try get it. The house was let to a family that stayed there around 5 years claiming benefits,we wanted them evicted and Lets Direct said they couldn't because the tenants owed Lets Direct money. The payments to us were consistently late and not always the full amount. When we decided to manage the house ourselves and went to inspect the house, major alterations had been made to the building without our knowledge or consent. The open plan living dining area was walled up to make a bedroom, the garage was made into a play area for their children and they had cut a doorway themselves through a load bearing wall, several other modifications had been made to the electrics and plumbing without our knowledge or consent. The tenants said they asked Lets Direct if the mods could be made and Lets Direct said we, the owners, had given permission. Total lie, they did not ask us for these mods to be made, all they asked is if they could redecorate ie paint. Lets Direct had been lying to the tenants and us. When we took the house back from the tenants it took 3 months and £7000 to return the house to its original condition. The account statements for both properties were handed to our accountant as they made no sense to us or the accountant, who eventually found Lets Direct owed us nearly £10,000 that Lets Direct had received and not paid to us for both properties over the years. After being in touch with solicitors, sheriffs,trading standards and even the police, we were informed Lets Direct were known to the sheriffs and trading standards, they had been performing like this for years, but there was nothing they could do due to the laws in Scotland. We acknowledge the huge costly mistakes we made in not reclaiming our properties from Lets Direct sooner, it was a very severe lesson learnt. The biggest shame is that due to the laws in Scotland, nothing could be done to stop Lets Direct trading and reclaiming our costs from them. Cannot stress enough what a huge risk you would be taking by letting Lets Direct manage your properties. This company alone deserves the attention of investigation by TV's Dominic Littlewood and highlights the need for regulation of letting agents.... Read more

Moved into a property with no heating/hot water and a damaged ceiling. Was told it would be fixed in 2 days. I waited for 7 weeks before moving out of the property. I must have phoned them 100 times just to be told today, tomorrow the engineer is on his was, all lies!!! The ceiling came down 2 weeks later, lucky no one was in at the time but had to sleep in the living room. Again no one came round to fix it. They even tried to bill me for the other 4 months because i moved out. This is a joke of a company.... Read more

let direct are a great agency to deal with and very approachable.Very professional with an excellent service and client approach. They have helped me to let my house within 2 weeks in Stirling, I previously used another agent who charged a few hundred pound upfront for marketing and tenant finders fee etc - let direct dont charge a penny! I have since recommended family members and friends to switch as they are very cost effective and great at what they do.I also met my tenants who are great and complimented the team at let direct as everything has been explained to them. I felt the need to write a review of my experience as many people are quick to point out only negative points. 5*! ... Read more
