I have rented out my apartment through Ludlow Thomson in Oval for 14 years and have never had a void period. Jibby is an excellent communicator and always responds quickly to questions and concerns and his negotiators have always worked hard to get me a good deal. I would recommend them to landlords.

I can only vouch and agree with what is written below. Please avoid this lot like the plague. A 3 year tenancy was signed and, unlike the unfortunate individual below, we did have the foresight to ensure that a ‘tenant replacement’ clause was embedded in to our Agreement so were fortunate to be able to leave our property early. Despite this, breaking our tenancy (which was perfectly fine to do, given that this was a clause within our Agreement) led to us being treated like rogues, as if we had committed genocide or a similar act. Our honesty and integrity as individuals were called into question by LT, and I would strongly urge that you think twice before approaching them, let alone entering in to any agreement with them. It is also worth adding that LT played us off against our landlord in getting us to sign a 3 year contract in the first place, an arrangement which both parties soon came to discover neither actually wanted. There were further issues experienced on top of this – accused of fraud upon moving in to the property which was followed by unhinged levels of unprofessionalism on the part of the agent, as well as accusations of late payment of rent by the agent when this in fact was entirely their fault (they had given misleading information). Also don’t get me started on property ‘management’. LT were the designated property managers given that our landlord lived out the country, yet proceeded to do absolutely nothing about any issues reported, and we ended up simply sorting out any faults directly with the landlord. A shower.

Absolutely horrible experience! Please avoid at all costs! In summary - false promises and information provided to trap you in 3 year lease, outrageous deposit deductions, extremely unhelpful head office. I've been renting in London for 8 years and I have never been treated worse. Initially we had been given false information in regards to early exit of 3 year contract. If you are tempted to sign one, please make sure there is a clause in writing that you may leave early provided you find a replacement. We spent 6 weeks of hell back and forth begging landlady to let us leave after 2 years of renting. We found a replacement tenants, as agreed before signing the contract, but the landlady just wouldn't give permission to replace us due to unknown new parties involved?! That was the reason. I spoke to 4 layers and they all were flabbergasted! I had to tell the head office I'm going to leave anyways and I shall pay a buy out fee (if you're in this situation, there's a fee you can pay to get out) only then the landlady decided to let us replace our names in the contract. Whilst we were there anything that needed fixing would take for ever to get approved by the landlady. When it came to returning the deposit, the landlord/ agency came up with random absolutely ridiculous deductions. We took it further to deposit dispute tribunal and luckily they failed landlord's claim and we got our money back. I lost lots of nerve cells and I will never get those sleepless nights back.

Ruben showed me around and was very attentive and answered all my questions and was very well prepared for the viewing even though I didn’t end up renting the flat I was very impressed as I’ve been to other viewings with other branches and they weren’t as well prepared or confident.
