We rented from them for 2 years until summer 2023 and they were friendly, proactive and gave us our full deposit back when we left.

If you're renting with a lanlord that uses them, do yourself a favour, and find another place.
Since 3 months moving into a flat managed by them, I had 43 days no access to a working shower. They always say "we're doing the best we can", when completely ignoring your request.
They will hire contractors to do repairs that always leave a mess.
Will book time to be there, and rarely come on time. Will call you to say "you're creating a stressful work environment for them", when you have to deal with a home with no working facility.
During my 6 years renting in London, both privately and through agencies, I've never had such a horrible experience. And I still have 9 more months to pay them.
I'm effectively paying £25k a year to be mistreated, lied to and bullied.

Terrible agency with terrible management. Avoid if you can. Always present to collect fees but never there for anything else. At multiple occasions, for 5 years working with them, my landlord was dishonest. Mould issues, falling brick wall, etc left unfixed for months (!) M&M Property witnessed it and acknowledged it (blaming his old age) but they could not care less...as long as the money keeps coming...

Had a great experience with Alex in renting out the flat. He was informative and responsive. Alex went above and beyond in working through some issues with our start date and came out to the property on a Sunday when there were issues with a lock.

I wouldn't approach M&M Property with a barge pole. I've rented in London for years and always had surprisingly positive experiences. M&M Property are the sorts of horror stories you hear about on the news. Rented a property from them for the last two years. The Landlord was rogue and disengaged. Discovered upon moving in that pre-existing cracks on bedroom wall were due to sewage pipe leaking into bedroom. M&M staff were rude, dismissive of issues and irritating to deal with. They denied the issue so had to get Islington council involved and threaten legal action, took them weeks at a time to reply. They employed substandard and shady tradesmen to complete the work- the job had to be completely redone. This just one of the numerous issues I had with the flat with pathetic customer services from M&M. After living in Newington Green for a while, M&M have a reputation for being dishonest and shady- avoid at all costs, preserve your sanity!
