I am really happy with my new home at Oakey Park Ellesmere Port.
Vikki as the first point of contact for Macbryde Homes was very helpful knowledgeable and had a good eye for the details.
The whole site team were all very helpful in sorting out any little snags I had a making it a smooth affair , they all took great care in finishing the last little bits even providing paint for future touch ups etc, I cannot praise them enough for their help.

In general I am happy with my home, I think quality of finishing wasn't to a high standard with the paint work, I believe they have since employed new decorators so the next phase of the development should be alright as they can learn from mistakes made

This builder is quite unreliable, they probably have the worst finishing you could find in a new home. Our doors internal were bent only in a number of months after move in date. How absurd? The door joints were oozing our dark oil which ruined out carpet. White woods weren't painted in gloss despite stating in builders manual to be gloss finish. Our shower is about to come off the wall, toilet seat came off, garden flooded, turf ripping apart, broken roof, dead tree, broken bricks and mud for flower bed, drainage pipes block... the list is endless. Only one issue fixed after 8 months. Get a grip Macbryde, you're doing more harm than good.

Seriously let down by this company. The promise of perfection from the sales person never even got close to DIY levels of finish. Flooding gardens, fences that fall apart, plaster so thin you can see the joints, paint so badly applied you could use it as sandpaper, central heating systems that don’t work, water leaks, site after care that don’t keep appointments and say everything is “done to plan” so I guess they plan for it to be badly built and finished.
Proper snide company that puts profits waaaaay above customers. Don’t be fooled by the slick website, especially the attention to detail horse poop they spout.
There are so many developments in the Ellesmere Port area to choose from, do yourself a favour and check them out before these builders.
The 5 star review that is on here looks to be from a professional reviewer - look at the other reviews they have left, all looks a bit fishy

What a shambles of a company. One of the worst companies I ever had to deal with and unfortunately it was supposed to be a pleasant experience buying a first home. Typical sales team (don't mean it in a good way), backed by an awful after-sales care team. Avoid at all cost.
