We had scheduled an appointment to view a property that had just came on to the market. Julia was punctual and professional at the viewing. She was also knowledgable of the property. At no point did she have to check with the office and get back to us about any of our enquiries.

I cannot recommend the legal side of this company at all. They have sat on a simple, but important legal procedure involving property for many months and despite being prodded by ourselves and other legal firms their performance can only be described as appalling. My next port of call is the Law Society of Scotland's Complaint Procedure.

I have used McLean & Stewart for several years and they have been fantastic to deal with, both with regards to setting up a will and the legalities of selling a property. I have also recommended them to other family members who have also been very happy with the service!

I have been using McLean and Stewart since 2008 and I can honestly say that they are absolutely fantastic! They are so professional and also like your extended family. I have used them for house purchases, and a few other legal matters and they went above and beyond for me which I shall be eternally grateful for, especially Gemma.
I wouldn’t use any other solicitors but them.

McLean & Stewart were recommended to me a couple of years ago and I am totally delighted with the service I have received. They seem to achieve that delicate balance of professionalism, courtesy and respect with a good dose of friendliness. My solicitor, Gemma, has always been well prepared in advance of our meeting and Kay, her secretary, immediately knows my situation when I call. This personal touch is so often lacking that it helps make a difficult situation more bearable.
All that being said, all the work done for me was successful in its outcome. Thank you to all the team.

From the moment I walked in the door to the point of completion, my experience with McLean & Stewart was faultless and professional. The team are extremely knowledgeable and were able to assist with answers to the questions I had and to suggest some things I hadn't thought about. The business has been going since 1743 so there really is no other comparable alternative to McLean & Stewart. I am very happy to recommend and will definitely return in the future.
