We were renting a property managed by Moon and Co until February this year. During the stay we had no issues but we are still waiting to receive a quote for deductions on our deposit despite having left the property for nearly 2 months. This appears to be a loophole in the deposit protection schemes - where the agent refrains from providing a quote for deductions, your request to receive your deposit is stalled indefinitely unless you pursue a legal route.
This is a lot of money that we really need released and we are now not receiving responses to our emails. Our next resort is unfortunately a statutory declaration.
Jon Bentham is supposed to be managing this process but there appears to be little incentive for the agent to provide a quote for deductions in a timely manner. Had I known this we would have submitted a statutory declaration as soon as possible.
I see based on another review that this has happened for other tenants. I would advise anyone reading this who is a tenant to arrange a statutory declaration on completion of your tenancy to minimise delays in returning your deposit. It is unfortunate that we are being forced to pursue a legal route but at this stage there are no other options.

Where do I begin!!
At first when we found the property, Moon staff were helpful, quick and efficient. However upon leaving it has been one epic disaster after another.
We are now over 3 months after vacating and STILL having issues with getting our bond returned, despite countless emails and calls. Some of which have failed responses and appointments not kept on their end.
Despite having gone through the list of requirements made by Moon to return our bond, including painting the entire internal of the property and cleaning throughout, we have been charged over £1100 pounds for cleaning and gardening. After the prolonged time and missed communication, dragging on and on over the festive period we have decided that we just want our money back so have settled in the ridiculous reduced amount.
The one issue being the removal of an item left in the shed at the property - arranged with Moon to be collected today, some 55min drive from our new location. Only to arrive and find access locked, meaning that another time needs to be arranged and STILL we are no closer to the reduced amount of our bond, over 3 months and countless communications later.
A shame that this unnecessary stress has been added, but to then have to take our two disabled children on a two hour car journey for nothing despite arrangements being made is seriously unprofessional and annoying on Moon’s part.
Highly disappointed at this stage. Who knows when if ever, we will get our bond returned to us.

Have been renting with them for two years. Have not maintained the property or addressed the mold issues even though we have reported these repeatedly to maintenance and even the lettings manager. They have even supported the landlords trying to raise the rent when they know that we are living with black mold problems. Really dreadful lettings agency, I would advise to stay away. Currently in the process of reporting them and landlords to environmental health as property is unliveable. If anyone else reading this is having similar issues (I know our neighbours are) I suggest you report them too.

Me and my partner bought a house through Moon & Co, we would highly recommend using them as our experience was seamless and transparent. Once we completed and picked up the keys they also gave us a little goody bag which was a really nice touch. We would use them in future when thinking about selling.

Very personable, no extra charges for photos, video or drone pictures, photos taken on mobile phone rather than professional company.
Excellent responses to queries, only 2 viewings in 10 weeks and didn't sell.
