Terrible communication post contract exchange. With delays being communicated with large movements. Post exchange the communication is all the buyer chasing Morris Homes. Morris now only contact me for one of three things - 1. Money, 2. Deliver bad news/delays, 3. To try and tell me things signed off and paid for should have been charged higher e.g. the sink in the utility was confirmed as under Mount due to me purchasing quartz, I was then told that was incorrect as it’s more quartz for an under Mount sink. It’s a single piece of quartz with a sink hole cut out…..so the size of the quartz overall is the same! When I ask for dates for the next milestone one the project I get the well defined statement of “soon”. Morris push you to get the mortgage which then starts the clock ticking on the validity and then fail to meet any of the dates. Shoddy comms, shoddy planning and I would not recommend them as a business. The houses and products appear to be well built and nice but the whole process is just shambolic and stressful. Not a pleasant experience spending £360k with them.... Read more

I've previously questioned Wainhomes with their lack of responsibility towards keeping the surrounding landscape tended and looking nice. I've since had a visit from the Site Manager who has promised to amended the problems. He was very concerned with the lack of maintenance and came across as a very genuine guy. I will update to 5 stars once the work discussed is carried out. Many thanks to him and Wainhomes for listening and understanding our concerns. Communication is the key to success.... Read more

This is the third new build property I have purchased, and I’ve got to say that I am really impressed with the service I have received from Wainhomes. I dealt with Ryan in the sales office. He is a true professional and is excellent at his job. He is reassuring and keeps to his promises, and I have had excellent communication throughout the process. Michael has recently joined the sales team at The Paddocks, and he has also been excellent. They make an effort to get to know you, and make you feel relaxed in what is an extremely big purchase! I had an thorough home demonstration with Dave (the site manager). It is clear that he has extremely high standards. Along with the sales team, Dave conducts detailed inspections prior to completion to ensure that any snags are dealt with. Being the third time I have purchased a new build, I am experienced in picking out snags, and I have got to admit there were very few in this case - most snags had already been spotted and were being addressed anyway. From looking at a lot of houses prior to buying this one, I do feel you get good value for money with Wainhomes. The houses feel spacious and bright - I was lucky enough to buy a plot with ‘dual aspect’ so I had extra windows. There will inevitably be further snags that come to light over the next few weeks, but I feel assured that these will be addressed quickly. So far so good! I have spoken to other people who have moved onto the estate and they all praise Ryan, Dave and the team. I would definitely recommend the team at The Paddocks.... Read more

Started with good potential, nice layout and home designs, now broken fences, snapped trees, bins left out on the street, rubbish bags and nappy sacks at the front of some homes. Road layout promotes street parking as drives are not big enough for visitors. Getting more and more sign written vans as families move in too.... Read more
