Crooks. They will under value your property to get their fees for a quick sale. Unscrupulous, unethical & best to avoid. They'll tell you that your property is not desirable, (even though it is) & all this without them even seeing it first. They don't care about you, they don't have many authentic buyers either. What an outfit! They'll stich you up & leave you in the street to get a quick commission for the sale. I think that gets the point across quite clearly. P.S. I'm not a serial moaner, but I WILL ONLY post reviews on really bad places to keep others informed. You won't find me posting reviews on all the good places, as there's alot of decent folks out there offering good honest service. So in short, I'll only speak up when compelled to do so. PPS. I have read your desperate & lying response, which I shall re-quote you below. Quote from you after reading my unbiased & honest review "I am shocked to read your unsubstantiated and false review". No I am not a competitor, nor am I desperate, nor am I lying. Sorry to disappoint you on all fronts there. I'm a legitimate home owner. You advise sellers that their properties are worth a lot less than they are without even seeing them. The fact that you're so hysterical as soon as you receive a bad review, speaks volumes for itself. There's no staff in your office, you look bored out of your mind from looking out the window all day, which is clearly as a result of the lack of business that you're not doing. You're stressed out as hell (who wouldn't be), & this reflects in your attitude. The long term will show whether you remain in business, along with no staff, in a dead office without any phones ringing doesn't look good. Other agents have staff permanently on phones making appoiuntments, chasing up viewings, etc. It's a shame that you cannot accept true & constructive criticism without getting neurotic & lying about how truly wonderful you are. I think that you have an inflated & false interpretation about your business which is not realistic. In closing, you have a lot of good competitors in close proximity which also doesn't help. I think that the odds are heavily stacked against you. Maybe you should consider re-training & going to work for one of your competitors nearby, if they'll have you - that is!!!... Read more

After recently experiencing the frustration and disappointment of a broken house chain, the thought of revisiting the whole process again made it all the more nerve-racking. However, after coming across a chain free house in my budget range being sold through Morris & Joel, I decided to give the process one more try, albeit reluctantly. I’m happy to say that I’m writing this review post exchange, and have nothing but praise for the agent representative Darren Joel in facilitating and streamlining the whole process from beginning to end. Darren was personable, knowledgeable and prompt in returning calls and emails-above all without any air of a pushy salesperson. I would and have already recommended Morris&Joel in particular Darren, to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property. Best wishes David M... Read more

We had many local estate agents visit us to value and with Morris & Joel's impressive, modern looking estate agent showroom, and with their success of sold sale boards in our area, thought let's get them in as well. When Darren arrived, it was like a 'breath of fresh air', courteous, very professional, highly experienced, honest, not arrogant at all, and he wanted to hear what we were looking for, rather than telling us like some of the others. He saw the potential of our house and priced it accordingly, which pleased us and offered us a very fair and reasonable commission % for selling, so we instructed Morris & Joel almost straight away. The first viewings were arranged very quickly with a buyer speedily found for our house at a price we were very pleased with. They also recommended an excellent local firm of solicitors that we've been using. During the process of up to exchange of contracts, Darren and Steven kept in touch, it was easy to get to know them and have a few laughs with them, making the process enjoyable and alot less stressful. They then suggested a good solution to speed the process up with the buyer and to secure the exchange of contracts, which was duly achieved. We would without hesitation recommend them and for the first time in over 23 years (this was our third property sold over this time) finally found an estate agent you can trust and rely on.
