One star is far too much to be honest. Rented a property from MRA a few years ago. Absoloutly shocking they are! Problem after problem with the property and not a great deal done to amend the issues on their behalf. Avoid at all costs.... Read more

The last few years have been absolutely shocking service whenever the property needs any repairs...contractors never turn up, and the ones that do have nothing positive to say about working with MRA. Whether it's calls or texts or emails the issues take dozens of attempts and typically months for progress if I'm lucky enough to get any at all with some over a year and still not fixed. It's a shame as when I first moved into a property nothing was too much for them and the service was great but sadly this is no longer the case.... Read more

very unprofessional. Staff have no idea what they are doing and they take on rubbish properties with naff landlords. Trying to get a repair done is imposible. Property always damp, Look elsewhere for rentals... Read more

I have now had my property rented through MRA for 4 years and have found them extremely helpful and professional. I have had 2 tenants so far and shortly will have my third. MRA have been extremely diligent and timely in finding new tenants and any issues arising during the tenancy have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Can't recommend them highly enough... I rarely write or pay attention to bad reviews simply because I believe a bad experience can leave a worse impression than a really good one but I stumbled across the google reviews of MRA Lettings, and I can only wish I had paid attention. Extremely unprofessional letting agents. We were left completely in the dark towards the end of our enquiry into a property, the couldn't-care-less attitude was the worst part of it. My partner had to travel a far distance in a rush after work to view a property that, unbeknown to us, we had already stopped being considered for the property the day previous (leaving my partner to stand outside of the house on the street in the cold for half an hour looking like a plum), once I asked the reason for this I was simply told that they had "forgot to get back in touch" or something to that degree, either way it was the complete lack of empathy that boiled me. This led us to lose the chance to take our second choice in property due to the slow and blasé attitude, leaving us with nothing. I explained all this to them on the phone but it was rather obvious to me (and the person I spoke to) that they didn't really care about the fact they had dropped us in it but instead they tried to make light of the situation by cracking a few jokes about why we weren't considered such as "Maybe it was your aftershave", I have a sense of humour but not when I'm the punchline especially under such circumstances. This is a fast game and now we're stuck with neither house and back to square one in the space of 2 days due to one bad service. Like I said at the beginning if you're like me and don't really pay attention to reviews at least pay attention to the ones about this business. AVOID.... Read more

Never would I use MRA again! We had problems at the start when they kept asking for our deposit and guarantor even though we had paid, I should have known then. Our landlord was great thank God we kept in contact with her as MRA took weeks to sort things out. When we moved out we left the house immaculate the landlord even message and thanked us for doing so. We requested our deposit as we didn't realise we had to use it for the last month rent meaning we had overpaid by a month. Two months later. That's right TWO MONTHS LATER still no cheque after ringing, going in asking and they said 'it was because the boss wasn't in to sign the cheque.' So after ringing the start of this week and threatened to take it to a small claims court they amazingly managed to sign the cheque that afternoon. We went and picked it up and deposited it into the bank and they added an administration & vat fee meaning we lost £60 of our deposit. Furious isn't even the word. I would recommend avoiding this company with a barge pole. Unfortunately there is a lovely lady who works in the office that would bend over backwards but the negatives massively outweigh the cons. But apart from herself the service and attitude both myself and my partner received was appalling!... Read more
