I agree with every other genuine resident who has previously reviewed RW: - Built using very cheap materials. Literally everything has broken and we've only been here 18 months. Our fire alarms weren't even connected properly. - The car park door and the building doors break regularly (either stuck open or stuck shut) and it usually takes a few weeks if not months to fix - When commuting, bear in mind the DLR was not designed to transport this many people (not a RW issue but worth noting) - There's a weird sewage smell that radiates throughout the building and comes into the flat. Also, when neighbours are smoking weed, this smell also comes through the vents so not good if you have children. - The staff aren't helpful either. They can't/won't stop the endless parties or car races, and don't expect any support when you have Covid-19 and live alone.... Read more

Have been living here for 2 years, really like the development. Great facilities, great location and for what you get I don’t think it’s horrendously unreasonable for the standard in London. We haven’t experienced the issues others state, the main doors to the building have been broken but fixed very quickly, or a security guard stationed at our building around the clock to maintain security. Would happily live here for a longer period however with rising costs I do think very quickly this will become painfully overpriced...... Read more

Stay clear!! Majority of residents are upset and uncomfortable living here. Tacky, ratchet neighbors and their mates who have no consideration blaring out their music both on the streets + in their flats (no, you are not cool), jumping rope at any hours of the morning. - The neighbour above me on the 3rd floor Pendant Court - is Intolerable- constantly bashing the floor with heavy weight. Poorly maintained buildings with cheap paint jobs, poor cleaning. Smells of sewage in the buildings. Rats. It just goes on. The positive is that gym staff are a better breed than the staff/dross at LCI. This place is fraught with issues. YOUR STRESS LEVELS WILL GO UP LIVING HERE. Not worth it. The part the Ballymore doesn't want you to see. If you get access to the Residents page you'll see it flooded with honest complaints. I feel terrible for those who come to do the viewings and make an offer, unaware of what's to unravel.... Read more

Overcharged Apartments. We lived in R.W. For about two years and it got worse and worse. New buildings made with very poor materials as everything breaks so easily or aren’t working properly, like the underground parking doors were broken every two weeks and took always to long to get them fixed. The area feels unsafe in the evening. The area and the buildings have CCTV But a lot of residents had their parcels stolen several times and the facilities managers just never took the time to go through the footage. I saw people having parties outside the car park drinking and fighting until late night and I reported to the security but this didn’t stop this from happening. To add to the list we always struggled to have a Hot shower in the morning as the water took way to long to warm up and the pressure was always VERY LOW. We had two bathrooms but we couldn’t use the showers at the same time ! How funny?! The Managing agent looking after the property was really unhelpful as they never solved the problems or took them ages to answer to our emails. Our first two months we paid a full rent with a non working fridge in the middle of summer as we moved in in August. They did send someone over with a replacement fridge for the time being and we had to send it back because it was a old dirty used fridge “god knows where this fridge came from”. For that amount of money you can definitely rent anywhere decent around with better service. Thank you Ballymore for the experience! We will definitely never again move into a Ballymore property.... Nice area but security needs to be a bit tighter and aware that the area is being target due to it being a new build etc. There is a huge problem with dust in area which is not very good at all. The parks are lovely here and public transport right at your door step.... Read more

I’ll try to be fair, our experience when we arrived in 2019 was great, view on riverside and a park next, few shops. But somehow it degraded progressively with new comers that doesn’t have any respect. Loud music inside their flat and outside on the street. There is a security team, but really tired to have to call them regularly at 1am or 2am. I can read many messages on the forum having same issues. If you want a peaceful neighbourhood don’t come here, believe me! You’ll pay a premium price for having stressful nights.... Read more
