Do not use these agents. They try very hard on the initial sell, however it all falls apart the minute you have signed the contract and it is nothing but stress and heartache from there on in. I have never experienced such inept staff and the managers are rude. I told them initially that they came through a recommendation, however from drafting the contract to sending the deposit, there was nothing but errors, lack of communication and making me feel stupid. DO NOT USE.

Very poor. Could only generate two viewings in 8 weeks despite two prices drops (in the first two weeks). No strategy on how to sell our home

The agent provided very few viewings to the property, though this could be related to other properties being listed in the area at the same time. Once an offer was made I felt the agent did a good job in the negotiation phase and was happy with the final offer that we accepted. During the after sales process I was able to obtain updates from the agent by phoning them directly, but would have preferred they called me and gave these updates so I would feel they were on top of the steps being taken by the buyer.

Although, my mother’s house sold…..eventually, I was not impressed with Oaks from the moment the house was marketed. The initial sales pitch from the manager in April 21 was convincing but as soon as the house was advertised, I realised that it was just sales pitch. The communication was sketchy at best with irregular feedback. All the way through the marketing of the property I was concerned at the lack of any firm interest or offers and as the end of the 12 contract was nearing, I began to search for alternative agents. However when I contacted Oaks, I was told that I had to give 4 week’s notice which angered me. I wanted to end the contract due to the aforementioned. The house was sold 7 months after going on sale. Inexplicably, I received no personal messages of congratulations or thanks for my business from the Oaks. Not professional at all. Furthermore, one of the negotiators had the audacity to contact me a week after sale, via txt to ask a trivial question on behalf of the new owner. I replied promptly and still did not receive a thank you. This only compounded a very disappointing experience.

Very good initial meeting with the salesman who was knowledgeable and friendly, but once the property was on the market their was minimal initiaive from them to do anything unless we prompted them first.
Perhaps this is standard estate agents, but it didn't feel like they were trying.

I have to take in to account that Covid-19 had an effect on normal processes. However, communication within this agent was poor. Right from the start the time booked for photos was miscommunicated. The process of viewings was the best thing that happened - Stephen was very good to work with. When contracts were exchanged, I heard from everyone else in the process with congratulations, but nothing from Oaks. I even had to contact them to ask what they wanted me to do with the keys!
