Didn't feel looked after as a tenant. One of the properties we rented had an issue with a blocked toilet that we tried very hard to resolve before contacting the estate agent, who was managing the property. We were advised that they would send someone round to take a look at the issue but very clearly stated upfront that if it was our fault, that we would pay for it, which really added quite a lot of stress and made the situation seem like it was all about the money rather than our quality of life. When it transpired that it wasn't our fault but rather a structural issue, they proceeded to unblock the toilet but then never bothered to sort out the underlying problem, which I believe would probably have required scaffolding and I expect deemed too expensive.

The bathroom also got very mouldy over winter and the advice that we got given was to have the heating on full blast and all the windows open to ventilate...

These problems were quite upsetting and we left the flat as soon as we could. I feel sorry for whomever has been living there since.

Sorry, Ocean. You certainly did not float my boat.

I was looking to rent a Room during lockdown after finishing University. This was my first time renting a professional house, and it was quite daunting at first, as I'm new to the whole process.
