After having a really bad experience in the past with estate agents, Open House really changed my mind. From contacting Open House, they explained and arranged everything needed to prepare our home ready to rent out. Once the photos were taken and our house advertised we had a tennant all moved in with a matter of 3 weeks. The online portal for landlords/tenants they have is brilliant and really easy to use and see all your documents. I personally dealt with Lee. Unfortunately he had to visit my premises to take photos during COVID-19. He came in with a mask and hand sanitised on entry. He didn’t touch anything inside other that sitting down to do the paperwork. I loved that I could contact Lee on WhatsApp with any concerns and updates. Great service from Lee. A man with morals and gives good advice and helps the process go through. Did some good negotiating for me too. Would thoroughly recommend. Lee was knowledgeable, fair and proactive. The biggest advantage for me was having an estate agent who you could contact at anytime and as simple as it sounds but someone who wasnt in an office and was using whatsapp. It helped me and Lee be able to organise the many viewings easily. We came across Lee Griffiths at Open House in the search for our new property. My attention was immediately drawn to the quality of the photographs that he had taken of the property and they were considerably better than any of the other local estate agents. I enquired about the property outside of office hours which goes to Open Houses national enquiry centre. Within 15 minutes I had a call from Lee and immediately I got a sense of his professionalism. The first time we met Lee was when he was doing the viewing of the property we are buying. He was able to answer all of our questions and his attention to details was excellent. We then put our house on the market on the Thursday and by Saturday we already had 8 viewing requests. Though to the next Friday we had a busy week of viewings and received two offers. Lee is different to high street agents as he has flexible working hours. We contacted him during negotiations a numbers of different times throughout the day and he quick to respond to our questions. Now in summary: - excellent communication skills - excellent listing photos - very efficient - assisted viewings as standard - Rightmove Zoopla and primelocation - contactable by email, phone and text message - open house national is open 24/7 - Lee is available in the evenings when conventional estate agents are closed We are now in the position where we are waiting to exchange contracts and Lee is again keeping all parties on track and checking progress throughout.
