Arrived UK in July, been working hard looking for a decent and reasonable price property everyday hour and minute, checking Rightmove for new rental house is my everyday task. ParkLane rental ads always gone fast and need to wait for the next round, because the houses are new build, well designed, equipped kitchen, large windows and managed well inside the estate. Luckily found their ad in an early morning so immediately request for viewing. Prompt feedback and arrangements. The actual house is 95% as same as the ad, nice meet the Lettings Manager Mr. Mark Nash who have been super helpful and professional in the next two months even after I moved in. Decided to rent after few minutes of viewing, go into documentation process, Mark always give detail and fast feedback even I have 1000 queries but still like he’s working in front of you and only while I know he’s actually pretty busy. The keys collected smoothly, clear clarification with an user friendly app. Overall well experienced on renting properties wit PLG especially I’m new to UK, not familiar to everything, a professional company and service does really helpful.... After being asked by Park lane to leave a review we originally rated 5 stars for the smooth running of moving into our rented property. However, whilst living in the property and ending the tenancy was a NIGHTMARE. We would receive various threatening emails about parking in visitor bays (even just to drop off the shopping!) yet the owners of the other properties would park there too and the spaces were never in use. When we viewed the property, we were told the visitor parking was first come first serve and not once was it made clear that tenants or owners were not allowed to park in these bays. The road outside was then painted with double yellows which made parking more restrictive, unless it was school pick up time then it was a free for all (though park lane never mentioned this to be an issue). We were constantly receiving emails. There was several requests to access the property due to maintenance that had no been carried out prior to moving in that should of been done. When maintenance was carried out, the contractors left a dirty bucket on the brand new carpet and left our lights on all day whilst we were at work. We soon stopped access to the property unless we were home! We received an email about how well we looked after the property, however did not receive our full deposit back after a ridiculous quote for cleaning (£200+ for dusty blinds!) We found there to be cheaper quotes, but this was not accepted. The properties look lovely, but after 1 month of using the shower the ceiling starts to crack and extractor fan was not effective one bit. When giving notice, that was also difficult as it was not within the payment cycle, so check your tenancy contracts with a fine tooth comb. The only way they negotiated this was if we allowed viewings to take place. Overall we would not rent through park lane again. We felt as if we couldn’t even breathe in our own home with the fear of doing something wrong. We’ve been very cautious about our moves since but fortunately have found much better experiences with other agents.... Read more
