Niki found my property, she also managed the refurbishment using her excellent team of builders, plumbers and painters. I find Niki and her team extremely professional always keeping me up to date if there are any issues, dealing with them quickly and efficiently. I have had very good tenants over the past eight years, and would always recommend Niki to any friends looking for property in London. I find it rather annoyingly that someone can write such a derogatory review about Peachy Property. As over the years all I have had is a friendly efficient working relationship with the entire team. I am surprised by Discomfort Able's anonymous review. Niki has looked after our properties for almost 30 years since 1990 when we moved to Amsterdam. We have always found her Company to be effective and competent. When there have been issues with tenants (or with neighbours) she has resolved the problem speedily and efficiently. Recently vacated the property we rented in W4 after a year managed by Peachy Property. Found their services through a friend and called when we were looking to rent. They found us a suitable property within the day and bent over backwards to get our admin and references done as quickly as possible to suit our timescale. More personal than some of the ruthless estate agents that we have rented through on the High Road! The end of tenancy cleaning company they recommended were excellent at our previous property and again when we vacated this one. Only stopped renting through them as we have moved out of their catchment area. Unfortunately we now seem to be renting through another impersonal chain of estate agents again but in the country!... I have been a Client of Nikki's since she first started. I am disappointed that anyone should write such a negative review, as it does not accord with my own experience nor those to whom I have recommended her. In my dealings with Nikki and her colleagues I have always received a total commitment to my best interests. In particular her skill at choosing quality tenants has meant I have been able to maintain a quality and virtually uninterruoted income stream. Rude, Incompetent and condescending. I moved into a property in a prime location, 1 minute walk from a major London train station, although the rent seemed well below market value at the time. After moving in to the property (which peachy managed), despite me always being courteous, Peachy were consistently rude, ignoring emails, talking in an extremely condescending manner and seeming to hate ever doing any work. I have spoken to the previous tenant at the property, the workmen who came over and the landlord himself and each have told me the same - that peachy were consistently rude and condescending to them too. This meant that urgent issues took forever to resolve and the way peachy dealt with me, it was like I was committing some grand injustice for asking them to resolve things like faulty plumbing or leaks/water ingress. Speaking to the landlord after we moved out, I understand that Peachy were unable to let out the property, despite the rent seeming extremely low. We saw the asking rent drop by c25% online before the landlord decided to just sell. I did notice that when I was present for a couple of viewings, the agent didn't seem to know things like whether the property came furnished or not... When I moved out, Peachy tried to charge a number of fees to my deposit for their efforts organising our exit (time and 'administration' charges), all of which were of course rejected on dispute to the tenancy deposit scheme. Based on their extremely rude emails, I gather that they hated the idea of actually having to do some work to earn their management and letting fees. Again, the other tenants I spoke to had the same experience. On a final note, i know from talking to the landlord directly that he was not happy at all with Peachy yet I can't help but notice they have left his original positive testimonial on their website. To me that seems dishonest but very on-brand. I'd say whether you're a landlord or a tenant, be very careful before deciding to use Peachy. Initially they come across as very pleasant and polite but this quickly calls away once they've earned their fees.... Read more
