Layout was excellent as usual. Was disappointed that so many items did not have a price on. Wandering around the site looking for someone to give me a price was...as I say disappointing.. The bedding dept had great choice. Tea Room was open too, so if a relaxing cup of tea and sticky bun is you, then you will enjoy a visit.... Read more

Upon recieving an electronic gift for my birthday, I found that there was design fault with the product. It still functioned well but was not fit for my personal use. Upon trying to return the item, with the receipt and boxing, they refused to refund the item as I had synced it to my phone, not having noticed the design issue before this point. While the staff were well mannered, the expectation that I would look over a gift carefully before using it is unrealistic. This is doubly frustrating because I have always held John Lewis's customer service in high regard. I shall not be shopping with them again.... Read more

John Lewis the company that give a 5 year guarantee on televisions! Sounds almost too good to be true. That’s because it is! It takes them longer than that to fix it when it’s broken. It’s been 3 weeks of me constantly chasing the repair to get anywhere. They finally approved the repair quote and to find out the part is no longer available. So I’m back to the bottom of the list to be offered a new television! Thank goodness we aren’t stuck at home during a global pandemic.. oh wait I buy from JL for the great In-store customer service. You can’t fault the sales advisors they were brilliant. But after that it all goes wrong! I’ve tried to get help from the WhatsApp chat and Facebook messenger. But I’m told only a manager can deal with me tv offer now and No I cant speak to one! Pretty disgusting service really. Will I ever see my tv again?!... Read more

Customer service here is excellent. One member of staff asked If I needed a basket, another asked if I needed help with the products I was looking at. When I paid at the end I asked the lady serving me if I could borrow some scissors to wrap the gift I bought, she came back with scissors and tape also.... Read more
