We had a positive experience in buying our house with Philip James Kennedy. The process was very straightforward and all enquiries were dealt with promptly.

We felt that they kept us well informed and that communication channels were always open. In particular, this was credit to Rebekah who offered a friendly and efficient service, ensuring the timely progression of our purchase.

Very happy with the service provided by PJK. The marketing strategy and pricing was spot on and the sale was progressed quickly. Once particulars were agreed we were assigned to Rebekah who was always helpful and available to assist with any queries. Its a competitive, sellers market in Didsbury, PJK know this and are commercial in their decision making.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Both for lettings and sales. Untrustworthy, tried to charge for damage that was done before moving in. When buying they refuse to arrange viewings unless the buyer meets their mortgage "advisor" and brings evidence of all funds and earnings.

Not pro active in gettig tenants in quickly. Over priced property each time it was re let which slowed down getting tenants in.

Very poor standards in cleaning and maintenance. Tenants very in happy with work done and I was over charged and in some cases not informed about work needed for over a month.

In one case an extractor fan for the cooker was dripping grease when a tenant moved in. It took 3 months of complaints from the tenant and me to get this resolved and they charged me for the cleaning that should have been done before the let.

Many other examples. Frequently ignored emails and were rude to tenants. I will not used them again.

Like a previous commenter, walking past this place makes me very uncomfortable & upset. I moved into a filthy flat with so many problems, didn't have any help with them at any point. I was genuinely told at one point that emails take '3-5 business days to respond to'. That is an ABSOLUTE joke, I would be fired from my job if I didn't reply to an important matter for 3-5 business days. Unproffessional. Rude. Tried to take my deposit after I had vastly improved & cleaned the property to a very high standard. They only released my deposit after more than a month of back and forth giving the same evidence again and again & eventually threatening legal action. AVOID.

Oh and at one point, my front door was broken during a viewing, they never communicated this to me & was obviously a terrifying thing to return home to!

AVOID at all costs!

They are only interested in your money as a tenant. After reporting dampness and mold growth in November, nothing was done until March resulting in me having to call each and every week. Lois who was 'dealing' with the case was extremely unprofessional, refusing to take phonecalls from me and emails often not replied to. Complaints procedure is also a joke.... they admitted they were slow in dealing with it, but no apology at all.
