One of the best accommodation agencies in Coventry. When I spoke with them about a property I saw online, they told me the place wasn't ready as quick as I wanted but there's another one which was ready to move in. After viewing, I was so happy of the place I saw. Quickly, I made deposit, got referenced and in less than three days everything was sorted and I am now enjoying my new place. Initially the process was really straight forward, viewing the property and paying the holding deposit. After the deposit was paid, Jas became very abrupt and rude. I requested the landlords details and gas certificates for the property and he said “you can find them online”. I was sent the referencing by email, after completion I sent Jas a message to explain my financial situation in more detail and I was ignored. Later that day I found he had relisted the property on rightmove but with a higher rental amount than we had initially agreed. I text Jas and asked why it had been listed even though I’d paid the holding deposit, I had a response 4 hours later to say that the landlord has declined my application - no reason behind this. Jas was aware of my financial situation before I viewed the property however still agreed to take my holding deposit so I could rent the property. The company communication and strategy is really poor. I wasted 5 days packing and preparing to move into the property once the tenants had moved out as I was promised a move in date also. Jas even asked me ‘are you happy’ after I had paid the holding deposit as he knew how desperate I was to move with my children. Be very cautious how you approach this company.

I can hands down admit that in the beginning of my application process, everything went smoothly and I thought the agent was great. It was only until one of the agents stated that I needed a guarantor for my application process… the agent was so unprofessional he continuously tried to get me to use my mother as a guarantor which I was not able to do. I then stated that my aunt is my guarantor and suddenly he began to say “that’s unusual as normal parents do it” “why can’t your dad”. I was in fact shocked and disappointed as a guarantor can in fact be anyone you know and trust, so I am confused as to why he wanted to know so much about why my mum is unable to. Just imagine if I did not have parents… it is very insensitive. Not to mention that when I offered to send over my guarantor details, the agent proceeded to ignore my message and my messages could no longer go through to him or my calls. Very frustrating.

My experience with Purplelink has been excellent! From the beginning Jas was really helpful and the process to do my application for a house was quick and easy. With his help I was able to secure an application within a very short period of time. Suki was also very nice and kind during the last part of the process and help us with all the paperwork to finalise the tenancy agreement. I can honestly say that both Jas and Suki are great and I would definitely use Purplelink services again in the future if I need to find a new home!

I am pleased to write this heartfelt note for the couple running this property. These people are one of the outclass humans I must say. They are the best shot specially for people relocating from any part of Asia. They honestly help you, take all your pain, empathise and sort your problems out. They are very generous and pure soles primarily focused on making relocation and renting as a piece of cake. They were the only ones who actually cared for me and my family for relocation. Went out of the way to help me out in my paperwork. Gave me very warm welcome to UK. The properties they have are very nicely managed and neat , clean and spacious, not like ordinary houses. I would recommend them for all new families relocating, especially from Asia. A big round of applause for you people. You guys are doing marvellous job!

Update: I left the house for relocation purposes. I benefitted from their services for one year. Never had a bad experience. Always very patient, understanding and helpful. If I ever come back to Coventry, I wouldn't call anyone else.

The agents have been very helpful. We are from Hong Kong looking for house to rent, which added tons of difficulty not having a bank account and limited English ability. However we were able to rent one, from online enquiry to viewing to signing contract with just few days. While I had difficulty understand the English of agents from other agency (lots of phone calls, my nightmare), Jas was clear and easy to understand for me. When we went to office for contract then his wife told the property will be free in couple of days and Jas will call me for paper work and for keys . I would not recommend Purple Links. Unprofessional from the start, asking for deposit payment by texting bank details before any contracts. Then failed to put our deposits in a protection scheme within 30 days.
Constantly felt that we had no respect due to being young- after notifying them that the shower had broken Jas replied sarcastically "We have informed the prime minister". Slow replies, poorly organised, often rude.
I was originally asked to provide a 5* review which I did to keep the relationship civil. Purple links have since stopped managing the property so this is the real review. I suspect this is how they have achieved 4.4* average.
One star is earned by Suki, who to be fair was very helpful and replies to emails. Unfortunately no one could be organised enough to excuse the overall experience of living in a property managed by purple links.

So Far So Good!
Buying a property has been stressful and have dealt with quite a few different ‘big name’ agents with houses falling through! Jas at PurpleLink has been more than helpful with this going out his way to link the two parties together answering any questions or finding the answers out and getting back to me, especially from buying for the first time communication has a massive help and has brought me lot of confidence going forward and looking forward to completing.

A post-stayed review. Their services was brilliant. They helped me at any hour. I had several problem in my studio, Rash fixed it for me in couple of hours after I rang them. Very efficient!!
For international student, I really recommend this agent for you. They helped me when I had problem with private landlord. My house agreement was settle less than 24 hours. Imagine!! Really superb services. Once again a big gratitude to Jas, Mrs Suki, Rash and Lenah. Thank you so much guys. Definitely will ring you back if I need a house in Cov.

The agency is decent and the properties that they offer aren't the best. The team is helpful when you have a problem. Inspect the properties in detail before you rent them and avoid the studio on 65 Nicholls street (CV2 4GZ), strange place with lots of issues....

I am a professional and already moved to Coventry with my family.
I would say that all people in this agency are friendly, reliable and helpful. I think Jas has a sincere manner that ease the conversation.
Moving in one day is a great opportunity that they provide. There is a logical price and quality balance of the properties. I can easily get help for the problems whenever I call.

I hate the day when I found this company. It was 3 years ago when we needed to find a new home in Coventry. Lot of empty promises, no answer to any phone calls, they wasn't helpful. So we just wasted that 3 day while we tried to go with this guys. If I could give 0 stars I could

as a new student to coventry i was finding it hard to find a place as i arrived a late from my country, i met with this agency and was taken to view to a studio flat which was just right for in terms of distance to uni and price.
i can thank jazz who was helpful in taking me in his car and also showing me around coventry as i was new here.
I did visit 2 other agents in cv2 prior to taking a place from Purplelink but was impressed with the friendly manner i received from the office staff.

Please do not even bother. Unless you want your pocket drained and empty promises then stay away. I had this guy who kept saying 'Aw I will give you this room for this amount ' I fill in the form one day later he changes the price then the move in date then he gives the room away altogether. If I hadn't called to check I would have never known and lived with the impression that I have a room. You are student ? Then stay away.
