Absolutely the worst estate agents. Black mould in the property that's been there over 6 months and they never sort out despite being reported repeatedly.
Not had any hot water because on boiler issues and it was discovered once I had moved into the property... it had a meter on because the bored ripped out the old one when they didn't pay their bills.
Ranson the didn't top this up leaving us without any hot water. In total 3 people were left without hot water for 29 days within a 4 month period.
We also pay a large amount for a cleaner per month which doesn't always turn up. 6 weeks in total now this has been missed off.
Currently seeking legal action as they will not refund us for the paid utilities and cleaner.
If you're looking at a property managed by them... forget about it.... Read more

The MOST incompetent bunch of “agents” I’ve ever come across. I would HIGHLY recommend people to NOT manage their properties through Ranson, it live with them as tenants.
It even took them 7 months to fix a window, 4 months to change lightbulbs on high ceilings, the locked us out of our flat 3 times. Allow mould to grow in the bathroom without fixing it (1.5 years later).

Currently renting from Ranson at present and the whole experience is a fast evolving nightmare. We did not get the inventory for up to three weeks after moving in. When we did we highlighted issues that needed sorting out. Mould. Broken tiles. Dishwasher not working. A toilet seat that does not match the size of the toilet. Broken skirting boards in the kitchen. Threadbare carpeting that slides of the nail tacks meant to hold them in place on the staircase. Slugs coming through the cracks at the bottom of the staircase. It has taken practically every single weekend since we moved in four months ago to chase up Ranson to sort just a few of these issues out. A month after moving in, the kitchen had a leak from the floor above which caused caused light bulb to stop working. It took 3 different Saturday visits for this alone to be sorted out. The door enclosing the washing machine in the kitchen swings on one hinge. Since the 24th of February a Ranson workman removed the entire door, with a promise to return the following weekend to have it repaired. It is now the 4th of April and after numerous emails and phone calls, the kitchen is still in the state it is. My most recent email was to Ranson on the 30th of March and we called the office on Tuesday to be told that the lady managing the property is not in the office. Whenever we do call the office we are told that the lady managing our property is on (a) annual leave, (b) holiday or (c) not in the office. Considering the above issues aggravated by the fact we have kids, I honestly cannot wait for my tenancy to expire because it is absolutely unbearable that having paid 2 months deposit, admin/inventory fees and never missed the above market rent we are charged that we should be ignored in such a manner. I will not use or recommend this company in future.... Read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Renting a property with this agency was a complete nightmare.
There was no wifi for the first 3 days of the tenancy and despite my numerous requests, no compensation was received for this. The agency actually LIED and said that this was due to a network failure whereas it was actually down to the fact that they didn't have the wifi password (the router was in a locked room).
Was not allowed to keep personal items in the hallways of the property and was told that these items would be removed if I did not keep them in my room.
Requests to fix lighting, broken chairs, rusty kitchen equipment and mould were ignored and the cleaning service provided rarely showed up at all.
Please avoid this agency if you can, don't make the same mistake that me and many others did.... Read more

Very helpful team with very fair admin fees.
I have just moved into my brand new flat in Royal Docks. Ranson UK were very professional and quick. I viewed the flat on Tuesday and I was able to be referenced and move in just 4 days later on the Saturday. Their fees were also very fair, probably the lowest that I have every experienced.
