Ryan (Griffin) and Valentin (Nedea) were fantastic in getting my recent property sale over the line. They guided and kept me appraised every step of the way, from marketing the property to finding a buyer, negotiating terms, managing two sets of solicitors, chasing other third parties and keeping up the pressure on all sides to get the transaction done. They were always available to take a call, or answer an email and never dropped the ball once in terms of always knowing exactly who was waiting for what from whom and who needed pressing at certain times. Choose these guys if you want someone to go into bat for you and put your interests first.

When we had a single bedroom apartment to sell in Manchester we expected it to be difficult because of the excess of flats from landlord sell-offs and newbuilds. Our flat was special to us because it enabled our son to manage health issues and work in a safe environment and we hoped that it could be sold to someone who would appreciate it. A penthouse location with panoramic views and very quiet, 24 hour concierge and just five minute walk to the University and science park and the Royal Infirmary and the Northern school of music within 15 minutes. A very unusual feature was having a restricted lease reducing student occupation to family members
Ryan Griffin came to do the valuation and immediately we saw that he appreciated the importance of the apartments to us and its distinctive qualities. Rather than just estate agent platitudes he outlined the specific buyer we needed and a practical plan to achieve our aspirations. He organised a special photographer and priority advertising online and on Savills vast network abroad.
Ryan and his colleague Valentin Nedea kept us well informed every few days about interest in the property and carefully vetted viewings. But they were far more than simply property salesmen, they both showed amazing patience with us, spending time to ensure that we understood any complications when they arose, inevitable in a big city were land has a long history and primary leaseholders are unresponsive shell companies. We are particularly indebted to Ryan for using his local knowledge to obtain written documentation required by the solicitors.
I am neither young (75years) nor wealthy, and giving our son this opportunity to further his experience and future independence was at times scary; buying during Covid and then selling as our remortgage interest rate made big holes in my pension. We are indebted to Ryan, Valentin and their support colleagues in Savills Manchester office for guiding us through this important step in our families journey.
