Gaslighted me. Had no care for any safety measures on the property. Have no care for which landlords they take on. Will ignore any safety issues such as mould, electrical faults.
My landlady made rules such as no boys in the house (when she didn’t even live there), no leaving dirty plates for more than a day, no access for the front door which is a fire safety hazard (which I brought up to sb let’s multiple times and they ignored me). The landlady is still at the property renting to people and letting these rules happen. SB let’s are so willing to take your money that they were happy to take on such a landlady.
Also, the “landlady” actually didn’t own the property, it was her sister who owned the property so all of our agreements weren’t actually legally binding - although when it came to getting my deposit back that was difficult.
When it came to the end of my tenancy, they got my guarantor involved and would completely ignore my emails even though I was the one who maintained the property and paid the rent for months. I honestly have never felt more disrespected by any company in my time.

Turned up to a viewing in 23 degree heat. Turns out they had booked five of us at the same time. Even though with covid they take two in at a time. The agent turned up over half an hour late leaving us with the tenant in the heat. Some other viewers had driven from other cities to see this place. Agent was rude when she arrived. Didn’t say hello to the tenant and started to rush us in pairs. When it was our turn we were told the reason for the way she booked us was “if I did it in time slots it would eat up her time” which is ironic with how long she left us outside and how quickly she rushed us through the property. Didn’t explain anything apart from the fact white goods were included. Honestly such a bad first impression that me and my partner won’t be viewing flats by then again. Don’t waste our time and then say the reason you inconvenienced us was because your time is more important.... Read more

My partner (Ross) left a review and I just wanted to clarify a few things. When we moved in, there was no lock on the window, my partner ended up fitting one on. If we wanted the window open, a brick had to be used to prop it open, the other window was painted shut so couldn’t be opened. There was mould in every room and some of it had been painted over in the front room. My partner was asleep ready for his night shift while I was at work. I received an email about a viewing that I did not see till I finished work. They had tried to open the door to let themselves in for a viewing before we had seen the email to confirm it. Very unprofessional.
Edit: in response to your response below, have you not read what I wrote? The lock that you are talking about is what my partner fitted after the landlord brought it round over a month after we had been staying there. We had mentioned how we have been burgled in our previous home. We spent that month worrying about it, not being able to sleep. The mould was is EVERY room, not just the bathroom. The mould that was in the front room/kitchen was painted over from before we arrived. Do not accuse us of lying. I can’t believe this. It was a horrible time staying there and we were paying an extortionate amount for a terrible flat. We ended our tenancy early because of how awful our experience was

I can’t believe this! The windows are filthy on the outside and can’t be cleaned because of the cracked window and stairs outside the windows. The window was NOT fixed and I will be checking to see if you have fixed it since we’ve left next time I’m in the area. The other window is painted shut, how am I meant to ventilate the area when only one window opens a few centimetres?! Absolutely awful business! Instead of fixing the problem, you accuse your reviewers of lying. Wow. I am absolutely appalled. We left the flat cleaner than when we arrived. It was filthy! The light fan had a thick layer of dust on it. We wouldn’t of got our deposit back if it was dirty so that’s obviously a lie.... Read more
