I have recently rented with this agent and everything was smooth and sweet until property issues started to arise. There is a huge damp and mould problem with this property which came to light since september. Despite all efforts to resolve the issue the agent has not even responding to our messages. A video displaying the problem was sent over 3 weeks ago and till this day no one has even attempted to inspect the property let alone trying to resolve it ! Would not recommend to anyone, as they only act in favour of landlord, so will be making formal complaints. Clearly the worst estate agent I have ever had to deal with!!... Read more

Poor service inflated prices if you use there carpet cleaning or professional cleaning service at the end of a tenancy, so inflated it was rejected by TDS 2013. When asking for invoices to fill in your tax returns, they were incorrect and muddled with incorrect dates. The owner denies that he has received payments from you to cover charges even when you provide bank statements and chaps payments evidence. He refuses to resolve or check his own bank statements. The last tenancy I fought my own TDS and was compensated. He has kept the funds and actually denied receiving them although evidence has been provided via the TDS portal to show he was sent the money, which should have been returned to me. He is now currently sitting on approx £3000 of money without giving me an invoice for the last tenants fee. My signed agreement with the owner from 2012 was 6% Lettings only and 5% renewals. It has never changed and this year still haven’t received my invoice for a fee but he has kept the first months rent. There should be change. He refuses to resolve the issues and lies about debt. When the house went into probate he had to be paid from the estate. It was a legally delayed probate which took about 3 years. He was paid in full when the funds came through proof provided. He thought he would put a retro charge of a 10% management fee for 2 years. To the executors. The lawyers rejected his claim as it was against the law the deceased hadn’t agreed to a management fee. He has appeared to increase the lettings only percentage to 8 % without notifying his clients it hasn’t been signed for or agreed by myself. Please be aware of his conduct.
