Me and my boyfriend found a wonderful flat through this agency about 2 months ago. Abbas was very helpful, quick in response, honest and trustworthy. The viewing of the flat and all paperwork went smoothly. We felt comfortable asking any questions we thought of which for me was very important, especially as this is our first time renting a flat in London. I have been living for 5 years and 7 months in a property managed by TLC Sales & Lettings and they have been extraordinary. Especially Abbas and Ruth :) they have supported us and helped us every time we needed something. The flat was painted, changed all the carpets, replaced washing machine and they have done all of this professionally and in a timely manner. I highly recommend renting with them. In 2013 I rented a room in Munster Road from an estate agency. After years, one morning I heard a knock on the door, I went to open it and I found a man, Abbas, who asked me who I was and who lived in the apartment. He told me that he was the agent who managed the flat. Now, try to think, I discovered that I paid the rent for 5 years to an agency that wasn't entitled to rent it, and this man that has the agency 800 metres from the flat, never came to check it in all this time. We were 5 people living inside and all made a new contract with Abbas. Since then, there were only problems. We agreed that the cleaning lady, from the agency, had to come every 2 weeks. For 4 months I have never seen her, he said she was on holiday. After she came rarely, he said because she didn't have the keys, so, I made them for her but nothing changed. After few months we had a problem with the toilet. It was detached from the floor, so, every time we were flashing the water, part of it came outside, on the floor; it was disgusting and unhealthy. It took about 3 months to repair it, he said there was no free handyman in all London...??? A pipe broke and water came from the flat above. Check the photos, do you think that people should live in these conditions for more than a year? He is a big liar, very incompetent and completely unable to manage any property. No annual inspection of gas boiler was made, the carbon alarm wasn't working, they are required by law, and many other things. He did nothing, just tell me to leave or ask me for more money. Despite having an annual contract, after 6 months he already wanted me to pay more. I went to Shelter and even though I had his emails, he denied everything and said I told him that I wanted to pay more...Incredible!... Read more
