Fantastic tenants: I have been letting my properties with Topmove Estate Agents since 2003, I have always had fantastic tenants and I believe this can only be possible through an agent who genuinely delivers on its promise. The tenants are all fully vetted with credit checks, previous and current landlord’s details, work reference check, I received payments on time with accounts to show breakdown of fees and commission. I find their CEO very proactive with maintenance issues and general enquiries. I have known the CEO since he started the business and I can’t explain where he gets his enthusiasm and energy from. I found the staffs to be pleasant and very professional in the dealings. I will recommend this firm over and over again... Read more

This estate agent is not fit for purpose. Apart from consistent errors and miscommunications throughout finding a tenant for me, they gave me a tenant (on a personal recommendation no less) who basically destroyed my flat and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. I doubt that any references were checked because no landlord could have given a positive one. There seemed to be zero communication in the office because every time I called with the same issue it was like they were hearing it for the first time. They literally take your money and run. Probably the most incompetent estate agent I’ve rented from. Rude, unorganised, untrained staff & lack of communication between tenants and within the firm. I lived with a mice infestation for the entirety of my tenancy. The cherry on the cake was them not knowing where my deposit was or even protecting it, which is illegal. Avoid.... Read more

Fast and efficient services. All around amazing estate agents. Me and my girlfriend was on the search for a decent and fairly priced two bedroom flat in the South Croydon area. We came across Top Move on Google, once we phoned up a Mr Kieran Tsolakis answered and was immediately a great help in our search. He got on it straight away and regularly checked in with us to see how we are and give us some updates on what’s going on. He also let us in on great rental schemes to help young people move out. Have a family living above me, flat is managed by Top Move. They claim to have sound proofed, but I can hear every word spoken upstairs and every footstep. Have made multiple complaints, company are disinterested and staff are very rude and dismissive. I would avoid this company at all costs. Seem like money is their main objective and they don't give a toss about who they effect. I now will be moving out of my home due to the unbearable noise that top Move landlord claims to have fixed, using cheapest materials available.... Read more

Avoid if at all possible. I received written confirmation our offer had been accepted on a property being listed by this estate agent. From that point onward I was lied to non stop by branch manager Kevin. Everytime I tried to get in touch with him to get an update on why the sale was stalling and the survey was cancelled, I was met with lies and evasion. He didn't return my calls, texts and emails for two weeks. Finally I found out from the girl who works in the office that the house was under offer with someone else. Im not sure if he wasn't able to tell me himself or if he was being intentionally deceitful. Had he been honest we could've moved on with our search or even increased our offer. Anyway I know we forgive the slick antics of some estate agents because they hold the monopoly in the market, but this was a bridge too far. Their banner reads "transparency, honesty, trust" what a joke.... Read more

The staff at TopMove Estate Agents were fantastic as I searched for our new home. They quickly understood what we were looking for and went out of their way to find suitable properties for us. I would recommend Bola to anyone who want to find a new home quickly and with ease. We were also faced with a difficult landlord, but her expertise, knowledge and commitment fixed it with ease, I moved in as previously discussed with no interruptions. Thank you to every one in that team for your help in finding me a property and having great customer skills that helped the process tremendously. I wish that all Estate Agents have this skill as when I spoke with them regarding concerns about my contract they promised to call us back however they never do. This agency advised me to let my property to a tenant they vouched for. Against my better judgement, I trusted the agency who gave the tenant a glowing reference. Needless to say, the tenant stopped paying rent, destroyed my property and had to be evicted. The whole process cost me a lot of money and stress. Top move did not vet this tenant properly. An affordability check would have shown they couldn't afford the rent. I also imagine that this type of behaviour by the tenant had taken place before, and following up references would have uncovered this. A very unprofessional agency.... Read more

This agency do not follow rules and regulations provided by the governing body! Their staffs are untrained and unprofessional very rude on the and in person, will not take responsibility for when there is a problem with the flat, they rent out properties that do not meet the requirements for the standard required.
