I have rented 2 properties over the course of 11 years with Uden. I was very happy with the service. Any issues with the flat were dealt with promptly from Uden's point of view. Unlike many other agents I found them to be ethical and approachable. I would recommend them, particularly Paula who was my main contact. We have now left the property we were renting and got our deposit back swiftly.

Great people, friendly and very supportive. Any problem wich I had, was sorted really quick. I'd been renting with them for 5 yeard and they had never let me down. Paula and Abbie are as good as gold.
They were also very helpful when I decided to move somewhere else, there was not any problem with the reference and the deposit. I truly recommend them.

IN 43 YEARS RENTING IN LONDON & BRIGHTON, UDENS WERE THE MOST DIABOLICAL AGENTS I'VE EXPERIENCED! FROM VIEWING DAY WHEN "TONY" COULD NOT OPEN THE FLAT DOOR, TO INVENTORY WHICH WAS DREADFULLY WRONG, TO PROMISES OF FIXING LOCKS, OVEN, TO NO DOORBELL OR NO CENTRAL HEATING ("NO HEATING IS NOT AN EMERGENCY") -- I FELT UTTERLY LET DOWN. I HAD TO REPORT THEM TO PROPERTY MARK THREE TIMES! I AM A VERIFIED TENANT 2021-2023-- PLEASE AVOID THIS AGENT!!

These agents were the WORST in 43 years of renting in London & Brighton! NO smoke alarms, NO central heating, NO doorbell, FAILURE to supply a proper Fire Door with Fire Certified Hinges, altogether a DIABOLICAL service! I have photos to PROVE their terrible grasp of UK Estate Agent Law. They are willing to SACRIFICE the lives of their Tenants by scrimping on the details of the law!

Arranged a viewing for a flat and was late by five minutes after travelling from another city to view. Nick had a tantrum for my lateness and hung up on me after trying to explain why I was late. Terrible place, terrible staff, avoid.

One of the most incompetent group of estate agents I've ever dealt with. Tried to send an elderly man to our home for a viewing while we had Covid. When told about the possibility of the people they sent to catch Covid as we were still testing positive (we're teachers so test regularly), they responded "Government guidelines say five days, you can't have covid for that long".

Tony and the team were fantastic! Helped my girlfriend and I find a brilliant property as first time buyers and were thoroughly professional and friendly throughout. Ignore the below reviews from a couple of tyre kickers that didn't like their viewings, as people who have actually purchased through Uden's I can confirm their services are excellent. I would 100% recommend and when the time comes, will be using Uden's again myself.

Worst agency I’ve ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs!!!!
Viewed a couple a flats during pandemic. No masks. Incorrect time given. We was left waiting outside a building twice.

Our experience with Uden was a disaster from start to finish. The staff are friendly but the business is completely disorganised. They ‘forgot’ our viewing appointment and left us waiting outside. When we moved in to the flat they gave us the wrong keys so we couldn’t get into the property.
The flat was let in a disgusting, run-down state, with old rubbish left in the flat, meaning our first weekend in our new home was spent having to scrub other people’s filth from the bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen cupboards were warped and chipped, tiles were loose and needed to be grouted, the washing machine wasn’t working properly, and a ground floor window frame was broken and stuffed with toilet paper to keep the draft out. The guy doing the inventory warned us before we went it that it was one of the worst states he’d seen a flat let in.
The most serious issue was shorting electricity sockets in the bedroom, due to a significant damp problem that had been concealed by being painted over. Shortly after moving in the paint started bubbling and growing mould.
A couple of weeks into the tenancy scaffolding appeared at the front of the house with no warning, with roofers leaving bags of rubble and and their KFC wrappers and bones all over the front garden. It remained there for months despite numerous calls and emails to Uden.
With every problem it took multiple phone calls, emails, handyman visits and months before anything was fixed, including a seven month wait for a new toilet seat.
It’s not the fault of the people that work there - it’s the Management not caring about tenants. They just want to make easy money off the landlords, doing zero work to maintain properties at minimal expense. Tenants beware; landlords, avoid.
