Yes, you will like this place for your event.
We were 200 people during the BETT show and we had a large gathering in the auditorium with two rooms for side meetings. They have a great capacity for spreading out the participants over several rooms.
They have staff on site that assist with any issues and they even rolled inn a spare 50 inch monitor when the projector failed. Well worth it, and so close to the BETT arena.... Read more

I'm always impressed by this building. It has a unique design and compliments the local area with other iconic infrastructure like the Emirates cable car and the ExCel centre. Good for local families in Newham who can view the displays for free and visitors who can see the latest in Siemens tech and smart city design.... Read more

Many exhibits fail to give visitors the full picture. For example every year thousands of people visit this venue and are able to calculate their water usage. However the exhibits fails to include water usage from users consumption of food and clothes which will account for a much larger amount than domestic water use. I could see no information around the exhibit that made this critical omission clear. Users then get the false impression that flushing the toilet slightly less is an effective lifestyle change compared to eating fewer hamburgers or buying one fewer pair of jeans a year, especially given the relative abundance and low carbon cost of water in the UK compared with many of the places where goods and food are produced. At a time when an understanding of the effects humans are having on the planet is of such importance this level of sloppy misinformation at somewhere purporting to do the opposite is very disappointing.
The general impression you get after leaving The Crystal is that we will all be able to continue with our high consumption lifestyles exactly as they are so long as we install a few smart meters and some funky windows. It would be much better to properly convey the scale of the problem and then a positive vision for now humans might adapt and change.... Read more
