Terrible service, worst customer service in any letting agency. Due to dodgy boiler fitting I suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. Moved out and have not received any deposit or monies back. Avoid at all costs.... Read more

My views of this place may change in the future but the way things stand right now, they seem to have gone off the rada. Ignoring my complaints and not answering the phone during working hours, also promoting several numbers across social media and none of them being correct or connecting. It's been 3 months of me trying to get my heating fixed and I've had nothing. My house is freezing - my en suite is now flooded out! I'm being ignored. I'm at a loss of what to do!... Read more

I rented a property of theirs in Stockport for 6 months. After a few months, me and my partner began to feel incredibly sick, flu like symptoms that would not budge. We contacted Urban property Services as we felt there may be a problem with the flat. They stonewalled us (when they deigned to answer the phone at all) for two months before finally sending a handyman round, who did nothing and then left before telling us all is ok. We paid out of our own pocket to have a reputable tradesman round and the first thing he noted was there is no carbon monoxide detector in the flat (which, as a flat with gas, is compulsory under law). He fetched his own and it revealed the flat was flooded with carbon monoxide, and had it been less well ventilated I very well could have had more serious health concerns. We left immediately, as the flat was uninhabitable. To add insult to injury they tried to make us pay the remainder of our rent and to take the carbon monoxide repair money out of our deposit! Urban Property Services are dangerously negligent. They care nothing for their tenants. They are all smiles when selling you the rent, but after that they refuse to do the basic of their responsibilities. I recommend all people stay well away.... Read more

Urban properties first found me just a tenant over the last 4 years I now use them to rent my and my husbands property using a full management service and rent guarentee scheme Over the years I have a strong faith in James,Rita And Nick. In relation to repairs they report repairs needed and always ask permission before going ahead and the repairs are a reasonable cost. All in all a great trustworthy services. Well done guys.... I rang Urban Properties to view a house, they were very fast and friendly in getting the viewing sorted, by lunch time i had a call back saying ive been selected for the property, this was very pleasing to hear! I sent them all the relevent information and within the week i had confirmation that i have been successful and now await to sign the paperwork and receive the keys to my new home. So far they have been very polite and considerate, correspondence is flawless and although they are very strict within the referencing checks, that is what you would expect from a proffessional letting agency. I hope they continue to convey themselves in this manner and to remain as brilliant as i first encountered. Thank you... Read more

I called up these guys to ask for help getting me a tenant. We live in London and rent a property in Urmston to tenants. We needed to get a new tenant in. They were very courteous, professional and easy to talk to. They listened to what we wanted and what we already knew and then added value to our suggestions. All we wanted was a tenant and for UPS to source and reference such a tenant. They did all the advertising, organised viewings and found us 2 suitable candidates to choose from within 5 days. Absolutely stress free and brilliant. I am very grateful for their help, especially when we live 200 miles away. They always called back and never pestered us for trivial details.
