I have been renting a property for no more than a week with this agency and already they managed to change my opinion about their service level by 100%.
Obvisiously, not much to say.. just I am contacting them, they are ignoring me and for a week now they are not doing the repairs they should…
For example of the repairs they are ignoring for a week now… with not even a reply back are the following:
end of October… and my windows handles are not working.. so windows are not closing… bear in mind I also have a 10month baby that lives in the house…
Another example would be : kitchen extractor doesn’t have a hole to extract the steam when I cook. My kitchen is a sauna whenever I cook… kitchen has a smell of mould and didn’t know why… now I do know!!!
Also speaking to Kayleigh, was a very unpleasant experience, she is awfully unprofessional and rude, I start to believe she is not human and also she is racist. She said I should live with the windows open until the landlord decides to approves the fixings. I have a 10month baby, when I told her it’s winter almost and we are used to a different climate, how long should I live like that. She said it’s autumn and I should get used to UK weather cause here is UK!

Moved in nearly 2 weeks ago with a list of issues longer then my arm ranging from 2 out of 3 toilets not working to oven broken. Still waiting for oven to be replaced and never receive call backs when promised. Once that have your money service stops right there.

My first impression of this Company was excellent.
Although aftercare service provided has not been good at all.
ie: we tried setting up an account for the electricity with a well known Utilitiy company, unfortunately because of an outstanding amount still on the account they required the name of the owner which the agent was not able to give me. they asked that I tell the Utitlity company to call them direct.
In the paperwork that I received from the agent it states that when renting it states that " you have the correct details for the landlord or agent incuding telephone number. you are ENTITLED to the name of

Tahila and the rest of the lettings team were a pleasure to work with. During lockdown, Tahila listened to our preference to promote video viewings (e.g. with the aim of minimising risk for our former tenants who were shielding) and was very supportive of this approach. We found the team to be knowlegable about up to date lettings requirements and they gave us relevant advice about our electrical certification and were very helpful with promptly arranging for an electrician to carry out the electrical checks. Tahila was very responsive - keeping us informed of progress towards finding new tenants. The inventory arranged by the team was done to an impressive standard with a huge amount of detail. I was relocating overseas and had to put my house on rent after starting off with an online agent i was talked into an arrangment with a well known estate agent in basingstoke. Little did i know that it would end in shambles...anyways..i then contacted your-move and thats where Tahlia comes into the picture..from start to finish she was extremely professional and super responsive, always on top of things. Our whole experience with Your Move was terribly disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. We used their management service to look after our property. Monies were taken without our consent. I tried several times to contact an area manager but I never heard back from anyone. Eventually the manager called and apologised and admitted we’d slipped through the net but we were told as our tenant was still within his contract, we couldn’t opt out of the management agreement. When we finally sold our property, after being on the market for a year, the list of questions which only they could answer, were just sitting unanswered on someone’s desk for a month despite me chasing me constantly. When the tenant finally vacated they just sent the inventory without even checking the property as there was lots of rubbish in the garden that needed removing and extensive cleaning which needed doing, all adding to the delay and in turn, to our stress.

Never respect tenants privacy or gov guidance about social distancing. forcing property viewing without tenants consent.They Will do anything to make a couple of hundred pounds. Thanks to James and Tahlia in the Your Move Basingstoke branch who made the entire letting process look seamless by being very detailed and patient with their explanation.
From the very beginning they called / emailed us and kept us posted with the progress of the entire process. (They even had their colleagues call us when it was their weekly off, just to ensure we were kept posted).
The proposed rent amount they recommended was achieved with a tenant moving into the market in 1 week without the property being put on the market which was an absolute DELIGHT for any landlord.
They were able to help us sort out all the miscellaneous work required to be completed before the tenants could move in without us having to be worried at all.
I would also say 'Value for Money' as they are providing quality work with competitive pricing as compared to other players in the market.
Definitely recommend using them and many thanks to them.

We were first time buyers and if I had to be honest we had no idea what we were doing or what is required from us , but Imogen and Denis have been amazing throughout the purchase of the property . Them availability and helpfulness made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process . They were always happy to answer all our queries. I could call Denis on his day off if I had any worries or questions . We couldn’t ask for better agent and mortgage broker. They both helped us a lot and provided great advise and support.

I have absolutely had enough of the utter disgusting service I have received from Your move. From the moment i agreed to lease the property the service dropped dramatically. i had to chase for a move in date, deal with rude staff, received the lease 30 min before it had to be in to enable me to receive the keys the same day. rented an unfurnished place, but when i complained about furniture left behind, they delayed my move and had the cheek to tell me to pay to have it removed. I had to escalate the matter to customer service to get a response. Icing on the cake is the gas leak i found after i was finally able to move in after two weeks. no hot water or heating for 5 days. Great, heating and hot water, but walked into a dug up floor, furniture completely covered in dust, irreplaceable items ruined, unable to even get to the kitchen from the lounge. how can things not be covered. no respect for other peoples things. The move has not been pleasant one bit and well getting any responses from Your Move is even worse. You have to chase them for answers. The landlord is no better, he will repair the floor in his time. Don't mind that i pay rent and right now the house isn't habitable.

This the third time I have obtained a mortgage with Denis and again it was a simple, easy and smooth process...we are not the classic 'perfect candidates for mortgage but he is always able to find a product that suits. This time he found us an amazing chsoaer fixed rate deal to refinance our existing mortgage, it all went through smoothly with no issues. Denis is always our first port of call for any of our residential or buy to let mortgage questions.

I used Denis Acquaah at Your Move Basingstoke for my mortgage advice.
He was very knowledgeable and ensured he explained everything in a way that I would understand.
Once I had found the property I wanted, he managed to get me my mortgage offer very quickly. The process from application, to mortgage offer only took a few days which was faster than I was expecting. The entire time Denis kept in contact and kept me up to date with the progress.
