working for bluebird Camden and Hampstead has allowed me to grow as a person and my experience with this company allowed me to develop my confidence. Amanda on of the staff who works there has really should me how of a great of listener she is and also responding to my problems even times when she is not working and finding the time to help me. Also Marian who is my supervisor who always asks me how am doing and is always there when I need her the most. she makes the job fun and we always laughing. she has helped me to develop skills that we will help me later in life. :)... The customer service delivered by the carers and the management is the best I have seen compared to any of the other companies I have worked for. Bluebird Camden provided day and night care for my terminally ill 93 year old mother. They were very kind, gentle, responsive to and respectful of her needs and her preferences. They made sure I was aware of important issues such as skin care and of course dealt with these in their care of her. They provided emergency care at short notice and were very courteous, reliable and efficient - very easy to deal with and accessible. I would definitely engage them again if the need arose.... I am a private carer and needed an agency to bridge the care I was providing to my elderly client as her condition deteriorated and I can not recommend bluebird enough! Karen who I initially spoke to was so helpful and understanding of a quite complicated situation. Marian the supervisor, the carers were all so helpful, smiley and very willing. Nadia who arranges the schedules (I think) added in extra visits as short notice, nothing was to much trouble. The communication seems to be spot on and that is KEY in this sector. Infact everybody I spoke to, throughout the last couple of months at bluebird were brilliant. Bluebird Care Camden looked after my 101year old aunt over a 3 year period with carers coming in 4 times a day. As we live in Wales and my aunt in London we had to rely heavily on the company to provide the type of care we felt she needed in order to remain in her own home. They were always kind, patient and caring towards her & any problems that cropped up were quickly resolved by them. In April it was decided that my aunt needed palliative care 24 hours daily. The team of Bluebird carers allocated were wonderful. They kept us in regular touch of what was happening; advised us if she needed anything and made sure I was able to access medical notes daily posted online by her dedicated team of carers. It was caring at its best under stressful circumstances with the Covid 19 pandemic and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for people who really do care.... Read more

I cared for my mother, who had advanced Alzheimer’s, for the past 4 years and used Bluebird care for support with her care needs. I can honestly say that I was so very fortunate and grateful to have the amazing carers that I did. Mums regular carers were knowledgeable, empathetic, professional and client focused. A few took caring to a different level and were excellent, resourceful and effective. They taught me so much as well as learning themselves from our experience as a family. They followed the care plan implicitly, understanding and respecting the demands and behaviours of mums illness and provided much needed emotional and practical support and solutions as well. Management always dealt with any timetable or timing issues effectively and were on hand to listen and provide practical advice and support also. In particular, I will always be grateful to the office and manager for sorting out mums care plan so rapidly in order that she could be released from hospital and for helping me through difficult and challenging times. They always strived to ensure mum had her regular carers in order for the trust relationship between mum and the carers continued. I will miss this company’s imput into our lives and can’t recommend them enough.... Read more

We use Bluebird Care Camden and Hampstead when we stay regularly in a London hotel for weekends away. We really enjoy visiting theatres and seeing friends and family. My partner requires a lot of moving, handling and personal care. Then hoisting into her wheelchair, as she has a progressive physical condition. The carers do this with professionalism, understanding and dignity. They are always on time and give us the opportunity to get away from home. They are consistent with the carers provided. I could not manage on my own and they provide a real lifeline for us to enjoy some form of normality and make the most of a very difficult life. Thank you Bluebird!... Read more

Bluebird were exceptional in caring for dad whilst dealing with complexities of a sensitive safeguarding situation in the family home. Carers brought much light into dad’s life by chatting with him, making nourishing food, and accompanying him on wheelchair walks to his beloved local park. This put immense glory back into dad’s life, making him very happy. When Bluebird arrived in the family home dad was wheelchair bound. With kindness and encouragement, dad was soon able to enjoy walks in the street, accompanied by carers. Bluebird staff were amazing, always kind, friendly, respectful and immensely skilled. We would like to emphasise that management are exceptional. It was the commitment of management that ensured that dad was cared for and thriving under challenging safeguarding conditions. We would particularly like to thank Beatrice for managing dad’s care. We have total trust in Bluebird and wholeheartedly recommend their service to others. Bluebird has been such a find! My brother had a catastrophic stroke back in 2012 and we were worried about him returning home to his flat. We shouldn't have been.
