There are over 17,000 estate agents in the UK and they all say they’re the best.
We use property sales data to measure the agents’ performance. So we can tell homeowners exactly which ones would do the best job selling their home.
By using GetAgent, homeowners get more for their home and sell quicker.
In 2019 we grew by 3x and we’re expecting the same again in 2020. Our current focus is scaling up efficiently whilst offering a better service to homeowners and estate agents.
As a core member of GetAgent’s tech team, you’d take ownership of existing parts of our platform - this could be as diverse as the homeseller’s dashboard to the data pipeline processing property data. Our platform is not (yet!) perfect, so there is lots for you to sink your teeth into!
However the bulk of your day would be spent developing entirely new parts of the platform. You would be involved in the whole process from idea generation and goal setting all the way to measuring the impact of your work. As a result this role would suit someone entrepreneurial who enjoys taking ownership of a project (rather than just does as they're told).
We use NodeJS (Koa), MySQL & React extensively, and we'd expect you to have a couple years knowledge across most of these areas (experience with other SQL flavours or Node/JS frameworks instead is fine too).
We'd expect that you're naturally inquisitive and keen to learn new things. You'd be mentored by the CTO and a Senior Developer and we'll ensure you have the opportunity to learn new technologies and skills.
In addition to our standard benefits:
We promise to keep you informed on the status of your application and to move as quickly as possible.
Please email your CV and cover letter to email@example.com. Links to past projects or public Github repos are always appreciated (but we understand if not possible).
No recruiters please.
