I contacted Ceaser and howie was allocated a lawyer and was told I was too request my own social work files that was on behalf of myself which was the lawyers job and have had no contact since. I am appalled at the service as soon as I had said I was requesting legal aid it seemed like my case no longer mattered and was swept under the rug.

Twice now, I have asked for someone to contact me, once regarding the making of a will and secondly to get a certificate to authorise the withdrawal of poa. In the first instance, I had the will completed by the time they had called me back. In the second instance, I am still awaiting a call some 3 weeks later. Needless to say, I have gone elsewhere and will not deal with this practice again. Brian

Used them as our solicitors when buying a house. Would not recommend, the guy was on holiday a lot and took a while to get back to us. No real sense of urgency.i can live with that. They knew we were foreigner's and failed in their duty of care to inform us that you can claim certain things in Scotland when sold a place if they are not in working order. Yes I had to renovate the property but this could have potentially saved me a lot of money. At the very least they failed to disclose this information which was incompetence on their end. The only reason I knew about this was because when we sold the house the buyer tried to take the mick and claim stuff under this rule that fell outside of it and I had to research it. We had no mention of this from the firm which they really should have told us about considering we were paying them and all.

Brilliant done so well with their help in selling the house and all the legal work would strongly advise anyone selling their house is to use them

They really didn’t do very much for their money. Each time I had a viewing it was I who had to contact them for feedback. Where this was not forthcoming they were not proactive in seeking it. Despite it being shortly post lockdown and their having relatively few sales I didn’t get the sense that they really knew my property. When it came to the sale I made it not them.
