We were on the market for over 8 months with hall and benson we never had one viewing!! Never had a courtesy call from them asking if we were happy and worst of all at the end they never if asked why we were taking it off the market….! Nothing whatsoever it was almost like it wasn’t on the market at all …

Very negative experience with Halls and Benson. The house was up with them for 4 weeks in that time we never heard from them regarding anything and requested a sign to be put up outside the house and it never arrived after asking multiple times. The initial contract they tried to sign us up for was 6 months which is disgusting considering the lack of effort or energy they put in to at least try and sell the house.

Constantly given false information, pressured to use their recommendation of solicitors, was pressured into signing a 26 week(!) contract under false pretences, belittled by the manager, super expensive. Avoid at all costs

Not interested in working with the vendor to sell a property. The sales process is poor not to mention the communication or lack of it from the staff and the general customer service is left wanting. If you want to sell your property then don’t waste your time with this estate agency as they tie you in for a fixed term and do absolutely nothing to get the property marketed effectively and sold. Hall & Benson Allestree branch are not professionals in sales or customer service.
