Absolutely first class service. We had a few blips along the way with an offer falling through and so we moved to Countrywide. From beginning to end the service from them was super efficient. They had a vision for how to sell the property and get an offer that worked for us. They absolutely delivered and we got a huge volume of support from Nicole and the team. They weren't the cheapest of the estate agents we spoke to but I honestly believe that the other agencies would not have got quite the return that we managed. So it paid for itself.

The team at Countrywide Kirkintilloch were fantastic from start to finish. Andrew came to our house to do a valuation and he was very friendly and knowledgable - he was also spot on with the home report value and what the house could achieve. Both Kirstin and Lesley were so lovely and helpful and always at the end of the phone for any questions, they got viewings booked really quickly and they kept us well informed. Raymond was great with showing everyone around as we couldn't do the viewings ourselves so that was a great help. We would highly recommend them to everyone!! - Chelsea and Dan

I am a landlord and have been delighted with the service provided by Countrywide Lettings. Hannah Bonnar has been my main contact and I was impressed that other members of staff could deal with my calls when Hannah wasn’t available. Most of all, I am pleased with the speed at which Countrywide found a suitable tenant and how Hannah processed everything in a quick and efficient manner. Delightful team of staff led by Fiona. Thank you Hannah, Craig & Olivia.

Worst letting agency in Scotland
We rented a flat from countrywide and from entering the flat to leaving it was a very bad and stressful experience.
From the start their communication was awful and they would have no urgency to get back to you or they often just ignored emails.
When the flat above us had a burst pipe we reported it right away and included pictures of the water coming through our roof. We never heard back from Countrywide about repairing the water damage, despite leaving an email and number. Black mould soon grew after which we had to deal with.
When my partner moved in he provided a month notice before and provided everything required for a tenancy agreement to be written. Every other letting agency I have been with had the tenancy agreement ready and signed before moving in, but not Countrywide. For the months we lived in that flat there was no tenancy agreement written with him in it, despite emailing multiple times. When we left we had no evidence that he lived in that flat and could not get a reference from Countrywide since he didn't 'live' in the flat despite paying the rent.
When we decided to leave it took 4 months to get our deposit back. This is because we discovered that the deposit was never updated with any of our names, even though I had signed a tenancy agreement, so had to go through the previous tenant to get our money. When trying to get the help from countrywide to get our deposit back we were told by Jennifer Brown and Paula Neeson that they could not help and it wasn't their job and soon after started ignoring all my emails asking for help.
I would just recommend to stay away from properties that are rented out by Countrywide as it's not worth the stress.

I couldn't fault the service that Countrywide providing in finding a tenant for our flat - swift, organised and very helpful and pleasant staff. I would highly recommend and will use them again.

Hello,first of all they didnt sell our house,we showed a few buyers around as C&W dont dont seem to do this on a weekend,the feedback we got from the potenial buyers is that C&W where difficult to get hold of (covid didnt help)for viewings.A few of them didnt know various particulars about the house which C&W should of told them.

Countrywide have provided a great service and managed to sell our rental property within 3 weeks. I liked that they are advertising online but also still provide cards in their window for older generations who don't have smartphones. We were kept updated throughout the process with emails to let us know when viewings were taking place and were given updates as to how they went. I'm really happy we went with them.

Fantastic service from the whole team! Always someone on hand to answer questions, guide you or point you you in the right direction if you need something. Can't fault Countrywide (Airdrie) and would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property in the area.
